Royan gréât if you get weather
Very nice stay. Neighbours were fab. V helpful but stayed put of the way for privacy too. Was a bit disappointed with bar b q. All decking so probably dangerous to have a proper one. What was there was a small chiminee plus a small electric one, neither great . Otherwise house was very good. V well organised and kitted out. Thank you !!

Great property with everything you need.
Great spacious house, 1km from the beach in Royan. We brought our bikes and it was a short spin to town, lots of cycle paths and safe for kids. The house was very clean with everything you could ever want on hand. They even provided beach gear. It was 40 degrees when we stayed and air con was only downstairs, but we got by. Lots of lovely beaches and towns to explore within a half hour drive from the house. I would definitely recommend this house.

Bonne maison, bien équipée et bien placée.
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour ici, la maison a presque tout ce dont vous avez besoin et est bien située pour Royan et le reste de la côte. Le jardin est également agréable et idéal pour que les enfants puissent courir ou que le chien joue. La seule chose à mentionner est que la climatisation est en bas uniquement, donc par une journée chaude, l'étage peut être un peu inconfortable.

Lovely Family House fro Relaxing Vacation
We are just back from what was a very relaxing time in Royan. Violet is very good at communicating and we found no issues in anyway. We were met by her Uncle & Auntie who were delightful and managed with our poor French. We were made extremely welcome and shown how everything works. The house is better than described and is well appointed in all ways. The Kitchen has everything you could want to live a home from home. You are close to amenities and the railway station. The town centre is 15 minutes walk and we went most mornings and night with our dog. The house was ideal for the dog as the garden is enclosed and has shade provided. The decked back of the house is ideal and we spent many hours relaxing in the garden. When we left again Violets Auntie & Uncle came to the house checked everything and we were on our way. Violet was very prompt with the return of our deposit as well. There is nothing negative we would say about the property and enjoyed our stay. Having been in the area on many occasions at holiday parks and this was the first time we let a house, it certainly wont be the last and we may look to return next year. Thank You Nous venons de rentrer d'un séjour très reposant à Royan. Violet communique très bien et nous n’avons trouvé aucun problème de toute façon. Nous avons rencontré son oncle et sa tante qui étaient charmants et qui se débrouillaient bien avec notre pauvre français. Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis et montré comment tout fonctionne. La maison est mieux que décrit et est bien aménagée à tous égards. La cuisine a tout ce que vous pourriez vouloir vivre à la maison. Vous êtes proche des commodités et de la gare. Le centre-ville est à 15 minutes à pied et nous sommes allés presque tous les matins et la nuit avec notre chien. La maison était idéale pour le chien car le jardin est clos et a l'ombre fournie. L'arrière de la maison est idéal et nous avons passé de nombreuses heures à nous détendre dans le jardin. Quand nous sommes repartis, Violets, ma tante et mon oncle sont venus à la maison et ont tout vérifié. Nous partions. Violet était très rapide avec le retour de notre dépôt aussi. Il n'y a rien de négatif que nous dirions à propos de la propriété et apprécié notre séjour. Ayant séjourné dans la région à plusieurs reprises dans des parcs de vacances et c'était la première fois que nous louions une maison, ce ne serait certainement pas la dernière et nous pourrions envisager de revenir l'année prochaine. La maison est conforme à la description avec ce dont il y a besoin pour passer un agréable séjour dans un quartier correct et non loin des commodités (centre ville avec Marché quotidien, petits commerces, plage etc). Découverte de la région que nous ne connaissions pas. Lors de notre arrivée accueil sympathique et chaleureux des voisins avec toutes les explications concernant la maison et les visites à faire. Tout est fonctionnel et bien pensé dans la maison avec une belle déco. Extérieur au top. Un vrai petit havre de paix ressourçant et apaisant pour passer de bonnes vacances. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette maison bien équipée située à 1500 mètres environ de la grande plage et du centre ville facilement accessibles en vélo. Accueil charmant par l’oncle et la tante des propriétaires. Gentils animaux bienvenus. Nous reviendrons volontiers.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in Royan!
Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man so für den Wohn- und Koch-Alltag benötigt. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß und wir haben die Holzdielen dort und das Grillen sehr genossen. Vieles wurde uns einfach so zur Verfügung gestellt: Holzkohle, Streichhölzer, z.B. Die Küche hatte auf den Fotos einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht und der Eindruck hat sich auch bestätigt. Die Verwandten der Besitzer haben uns sehr nett empfangen (Französisch-Kenntnisse sind sehr hilfreich) und uns alles im Haus gezeigt. Alles bestens! Das Einzige, was uns gestört hat, war dass man die Bettbezüge ("Linge") entweder am letzten Tag (direkt vor der Abreise) selber waschen muss (haben wir getan) oder dafür nochmal zusätzlich etwas zu den vereinbarten Reinigungskosten zahlen muss. Das haben wir so zum ersten Mal in einem Ferienhaus erlebt, normalerweise sind die Bettbezüge kein großes Diskussionsthema. Insgesamt ist das Haus aber sehr sehr empfehlenswert!
