I am not sure how this hotel was rated 8.8. We stopped here on our way to Navarre Beach, making the morning drive only 2.5 hours away. Reviews and great price $70, led us to stay here. The hotel exterior has been painted and the interior too. The leather chairs in rooms should have been thrown out long ago as they were so worn, it was hard to tell they were once leather. Bathroom mirrors were cracked, and shower had rust. Beds were soft, but okay. Breakfast was as basic as it gets. Cereal, waffle maker, packaged donuts and granola bars. The sign said Executive Inn, but the printer was out of ink and didn't work. The receptionist tried to multiple ways to help print a document, but could not as the owner was out of the country and had logged off all applications. It was the only hotel in town, but is next to a good BBQ restaurant. As the title says, you get what you pay for. I'd rate this a 5 or 6 at best. You might stay here if you are on a VERY tight budget.
