What a unique place to stay! We were on the way driving from Frankfurt to Luxembourg and stopped there for 1 night. The farm is located approximately 40 min from the center of Luxembourg city in a very rustic beautiful area surrounded by green fields and windmills. The very clean little cottage has two rooms- one with a bunk bed, the second one with a king size bed, bedding was very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with anything you might need for cooking your own food. A large balcony overlooking the fields. There is a little store right there where you can buy fresh milk, eggs, honey, etc. Also there are a couple of grocery stores 7 min away from the farm if anything is needed. The hosts (who run the farm and the store) are very friendly and treat their guests like family- they treated us with homemade ice cream, showed my kids their farm animals. My whole family didn’t want to leave! I am sure it will become our most memorable stay out of our three-weeks’ trip to Europe. Highly recommend!

Kurzurlaub auf dem Bauernhof

In einer wunderschönen Gegend, mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Weinerlebnisse und Kultur. Eine Wohnung mit jeglichem Komfort. Sehr nette Gastgeber mit einem tollen Hofladen zum Selbstversorgen. Die Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt und durften auch mithelfen.

Een geweldig ervaring op de boerderij

Wij hebben het erg leuk gehad. Vriendelijke mensen, een boerderijwinkel en je mag vrij bij de dieren kijken. Het huisje is netjes, schoon en compleet met aan de balkonzijde een mooi uitzicht over het prachtige landschap. Leerzaam voor kinderen, zo leren ze dat de melk niet uit de fabriek komt. Kortom een mooie belevenis voor volwassenen en kinderen in een prachtige omgeving!

Bauernhof Urlaub am Dreiländereck

Wir haben die Zeit auf dem Saargauhof wirklich genossen. Der Landwirt/Vermieter ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er erklärt und zeigt einem alles und gibt gute Freizeittipps. Das selbstgemachte Eis im Hofladen ist der Renner! Da passen auch das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Wir sind 8 Tage zu Gast auf dem Saargauhof gewesen und konnten in dieser Zeit junge Kälbchen bestaunen und über 500 Schwalben flogen durch den Hof. Die Lage ist wirklich gut und alles, was man sonst noch braucht, könnte man in Saarburg erwerben. Tagestrips nach Trier, Luxemburg und Umland sind in nächster Nähe.

Super für Kinder!

Die Kinder durften draußen immer spielen. Für die war das ein Highlight. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen! Wer also kein Problem mit fliegen oder Dorf Geruch hat, ist hier super aufgehoben! Immer frische Milch und Eier gehabt und super leckeres selbstgemachtes Eis von den! Vielen Dank für die tollen Tage und Einblicke in einem Bauernhof!

Amazing farm and super kind host

Amazing farm!! The photos on website are not enough, the farm is so much more beautiful in reality!! So many animals and so much silence, amazing breakfast done with home made products, jogurts, cheese etcera. Super great!

Absolut Spitze! Tolle Gastgeber, Traum-Terrasse mit Weitblick, und man fällt von der Haustür direkt in eine wunderschöne Gegend zum Wandern oder Altstädte erkunden. Außerdem viel über Landwirtschaft gelernt! Danke Johann und Familie!
