Place is good with plenty of parking. The check in staff was really extra with attitude, that's the only negative. A credit card form was needed as I was covering the bill for some employees out of town, which was fine, but there was an extra edge and disdain in the communication myself and to my employees which I didn't appreciate. An extra tone of how we weren't going to be checked in was unnecessary. Fear of fraud is real, but the extra tone bought you this review....otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board.

It was an alright hotel. The best part was the breakfast. They have the fancy waffle makers and a cool pancake machine. I stayed two nights and got one of the suites. It’s definitely outdated and they could use new mattresses. It felt like I was sleeping in someone’s bed that they sleep in every day. There for sure was a body bent in the bed. Not sure if I’d go back. I could have gotten a room at the beach for the same price and with the same tub.

Our two night stay At Rocklin Park hotel was actually quite nice. Upon arrival it has a vintage charm. The staff member showed us to our room which was spacious, a king size bed with fresh linens. There was a large armoire closet and a nice size tv along with a dresser and desk. The water presure was perfect and pleanty of hot water. The bath towels were more than adequate; good quality and clean and white. Also the toiletries were large size mounted to the wall. ( shampoo. Conditioner and body wash) extra tp ann a box of kleenex in there too. The bathroom had double sinks. Our stay was comfortable and affordable and it wiil be on our list when we come up to visit our family in Rocklin.

Dirty and strong smell of weed in hallways Emergency exit is unlocked in the back feeling unsafe around corner last room with people having pots and pans on patio as if living there Informed front desk of clogged toilet and broken lock on room door ( which also had broken frame around door as if someone tried to break in) Never addressed , asked for a plunger to unclog toilet myself No cleaning service during entire stay Would not recommend that place

It was a very quiet place. Hot water was always there, clean bathroom and room. The breakfast on weekends included scrambled eggs, sausages, a waffle and pancake machine, bagels and muffins, croissants, cereals and milk. Fruit. A good meal.

Nice place, convenient location.
The property is clean and very nice. The room heater works good. (December visit). The windows open, which is nice for some fresh air. There were very loud frogs, what sounded like hundreds, in the nearby woodsy area. I cracked the window and could hear them all night, it was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. There's an event center connected if you have a big event. There was a loud party the night we stayed but couldn't hear it in our room. There's an outdoor pool and hot tub. They are fenced in in a nice private way. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores.

A smelly experience
We reserved a 2 queen premier room with balcony. When we walked into our room, it smelled like raw sewage and there were food wrappers, crumbs and dirty socks in the room. We asked for a differebt room, but they didnt have anymore premier rooms with 2 queen beds. We had to downgrade to a regular room with 2 queen beds. They are allegedly giving me 30% off our stay. But being that i booked it in hotels.com, im mot sure how that will happen. I suppose ill kust have to keep and eye out for a refund from hotels.com. Besides that, they were apologetic and acomidating in regards to switching the room. I will add that they dis offer a kind suite with a hot ub, bu we needed a 2 queen bed room because we were with our children.

There was a loud noise outside my room, it sounded like someone was trying to get in my room, I would look out the peephole and see nothing, I thought it was the room across from me but it wasn't. This went on all night, between that and the vibration in the room, it was hard to get a good night sleep. Friday morning I went down to breakfast and there were 4 construction workers in eating breakfast, they ate all the eggs and sausages.

Not so good service
The accommodations were fine. It was the service that was lacking. The last night of our stay, our keys did not work. There was no one around to assist with the issue. After an exhaustive search and calling out to see if anyone was around we had to resort to calling the hotel to find someone. First thekeys were obviously programmed for the wrong expiration date. Then to have no means of contacting service personnel was a big negative and very frustrating.
