Safranbola: a hidden gem!
Safranbolu is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We stayed in the old, wooden town. Easy to walk around. Hotel very helpful with maps etc. A must to visit is Yoruk, very old town, 12 km away being restored. It was a 6.5 drive from Istanbul & absolutely worth the trip.

Ottoman character
Very comfortable hotel in old mansion in an historic Ottoman town. Location is excellent close to the transport hub - taxis and local buses. The hotel is full of character. Large bedroom full of dark woods. Breakfast buffet which could be taken in garden. Only negative comment was loose light switch.

Otele vardığımızda hotels.com dan aldığımız rezervasyon numarası elimizde olduğu halde bize böyle bir rezervasyonun olmadığı söylendi.Sıkıntı burada başladı.Sonra kapı girişi fiyatlarından oda verilmeye çalışıldı.Neyse rezervasyon nosu falan derken zar zor kabul ettiler hotels com rezervasyonumuzu.Otopark konusu sıkıntılı.Otelin kendi otoparkı yok başka otelin otoparkını kullanıyor bu da sorun yaratıyor.Arabayı bıraktığımız otoparkın önü belediyece kazılıyormuş sabahın köründe uyanıp arabayı çekmek zorunda kaldık.Otelin kahvaktısı berbat biz gittiğimizde açık büfe yoktu,verdikleri kahvaltı tabağının salamı kokuyordu ayrıca gece 10 dan sonra çay kahve servisi yok,isteyince maalesef restoran kapandı diye cevap veriyorlar.Tek iyi yanı temizliği ve odanın büyük ve güzel olması bir daha tercih eder miyim ? Asla etmem
