Absolutely loved our visit to this delightful vineyard B&B! Our guest room was one of just 3, situated in the former stables of this beautiful old manor house. We were greeted on arrival by Isabelle, the very welcoming owner, who offered us glasses of their homegrown wine. It was fantastic, and we were able to buy the wine as well. She speaks very good English, if your French is a bit lacking, and can recommend good places to go for an evening meal. A very nice continental breakfast is provided in the main house. You can take a walk around the grounds to look at the vineyards; there is also seating in the courtyard for enjoying some al fresco Chateau Rousselle wine!
A visit to Blayes, the nearest small town, is the best idea for other meals. Do also take the opportunity to visit the Citadel in Blayes - a fascinating artists' colony housed within an old fortified town.
We would love to come back to Chateau Rousselle one day:)
