Large country house in beautiful nature, yet close to the village

The converted and stylishly furnished former farmhouse offers plenty of space for you and your family and friends, indoors and out. It is a very quiet place. There is hardly any traffic and the neighbours are far away. All the flats were classified 3 stars by "Etoile-de-France" in October 2022, which we were very pleased about.

They are 3 independent accommodation units. The main building sleeps five people (e.g. 2 adults, 3 children) and the two apartments, each with its own entrance and fully equipped kitchen/living room (each for two and three people), offer 300 sqm of living space. The state-of-the-art fibreglass internet is not only fast, but can be received around the entire house, even in front of the pool. Sun loungers and plenty of tables and chairs are provided. Put them where you like, there are lovely corners all around the house.

Since 2022, we have been particularly proud of the large swimming pool, whose dimensions (10 x 4 x 1.5 m) and modern equipment also suit this property. It is regularly maintained so that you can rely on good water quality. The daily cleaning is done by the pool robot, which you use yourself, it is not difficult. The pool is heated and extends the swimming season from May to October.

The pool is secured with a sturdy tarpaulin, which is reinforced with metal struts to withstand up to 80 kg. The edges are properly sealed as the tarpaulin is braced over the pool. It complies with the NFP 90-308 standard, as required by French law. There is no pool alarm or perimeter around the pool.

For many years this property has been our holiday home and our "anchor" in troubled times. My mother Heidrun and her partner Otto saved it from decay in 1994 and completely restored it. Since then it has been constantly modernised and adapted to today's requirements. Of course, not everything is new. But everything works very well, because it has quality and now also its own charm.

Unfortunately, we cannot welcome you personally. A very detailed instruction manual is available online in several languages via an internet link. It will give you a sense of security and help you to quickly feel at home. Probably 95% of the questions you might have during your stay will already be answered here in text, photos or as a YouTube video. In the appendix, you will also find two pages of tips for leisure activities in the area - there is plenty to do. So you can go sightseeing right away, or arrive first! In case of real problems, there is also a service person on site or we are happy to help via Whatsap in video format.

The property is not fenced. There are only a few cars a day, which can be heard from far away. From our point of view, this is a paradise for children, because around the house there is only nature and a lot to discover. The pool is also properly disarmable. On the other hand it would be a good place to teach children how to swim.
