Hotel building work not complete
First the positives. This is a brand new hotel, so everything was clean, new and spotless. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We had an early flight arrival to St.Denis and arrived at the hotel just beford 8am. We was offered breakfast and then shortly afterwards we was told our room was ready. Checked in before 10am. Now the negatives. The hotel is not finished. Work is still going on outside and every morning workmen are on site at 7am. But, one of the main reasons for booking this hotel was the lovely pictures of the swimming pool and seating area since St.Denis has no beach. Unfortunately, the pool was still being built as is the onsite carpark, so you have to find alternative parking. In our room was a letter saying no kettle due to the hotel being in a pre-opening stage and free coffe downstairs. However, when I asked I had to pay 6 euros. I would not have minded had the hotel informed us before arriving so that we could have changed, but they did not. Nor have they reduced the room rate and when we complained on leaving, no discount was offered. I am sure this will be a great hotel. Just avoid for the next month or 2 until complete.

Radison hôtel est 1 très bel établissement à la décoration contemporaine soignée, très propre. Chambres très bien équipées, confortables. Contrairement à ce que j'ai lu dans 1 avis, la pression d'eau est tout à fait normale et suffisante pour "se laver les cheveux". Des réceptionnistes aux femmes de chambre et serveurs, le personnel est accueillant, souriant et aimable. Petit déjeuner généreux avec un vaste choix qui permet de se concocter un repas différent chaque jour. Le restaurant est excellent. De petits points à améliorer : - sur-éclairage des parties communes. Les lustres du rdc avec leur 27 ampoules sont très beaux mais clairement superflus. L'éclairage intensif des couloirs des chambres reste allumé très longtemps. L'île est peut-être autosuffisante en électricité, cette débauche d'éclairage est indécente. D'autant plus étonnant que Radison incite ses clients à la sobriété (eau, climatisation, changement serviettes) et le lecteur de carte installé à l'entrée de la chambre commande la climatisation mais aussi toute l'électricité de la chambre (sauf curieusement le téléviseur). Il suffit d'enlever la carte en quittant la chambre. - vitres des chambres très sales extérieur/intérieur (face interne encrassée presque in-nettoyable). Qd on choisit 1 vue océan on tire le rideau pour contempler le spectacle. - petit déj dès 6h, pratique pour partir tôt à la découverte de l'île mais à 6h mise en place non effectuée. Ça mérite 1 * en - compensée par l'accueil souriant.

De Radisson (presque) que le nom
Ce Radisson n’a pas le niveau 4 étoiles qu’il prétend , assurément: - pas de groom pour les bagages, ni même un chariot ! - petit déjeuner à partir de 6h? Le personnel embauche à 6h donc forcément tout est en p’ace à 7h. La Réunion est réputée pour ses innombrables randonnées, donc la promesse d’un petit-déjeuner à 6h doit être respectée. Je conseille aux voyageurs marcheurs d’aller chez Paul juste à côté à 10m. Sinon la chambre et la literie impeccables, heureusement.

Pas très bonne expérience. Le premier jour on est parti prendre un verre et j’ai attendu 45 minutes pour finalement ne pas avoir la commande complète. Tous les matins le petit déjeuner était le même pas de changement. C’était vraiment médiocre.

Le séjour s'est bien passé. Ils ont mis 4 bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo bar et aucun prix ou menu qui indique que ça peut être payant. Au check out, ils voulaient nous faire payer les 4 bouteilles d'eau. On n'a pas accepté. Sinon c'était agréable. Il faut qu'ils indiquent aux gens que c'est payant.
