Very good

The Hotel le Jersey was a good choice for a first time visit to Saint Malo. It’s on the boardwalk about a 20 minute walk from the old city and it has a good location as a midway point between the old city and the newer city, as well as easy beach access. If you can get an ocean view room, do so - the view is incredible!
Lovely hotel that seemed very recently renovated. Really well done, clean and comfortable. The staff were nice. My only gripe was being asked to pay for parking when it was advertised as free.
An overnight stop waiting for the ferry. Great location, easy to walk to town restaurants, great location inn the beach and super friendly staff.

Seafront elegance in St Malo.
A very smart, neat, tidy and impeccably clean hotel. We suspect it had recently been refurbished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were offered an upgrade at a reduced price so we took it; ground floor right on the sea front with it's own balcony. Parking is a bonus as parking in town during high season is very expensive. It is easier to park if you have a small car as manoeuvring space is tight. It is about a twenty minute walk into St Malo, a very pleasant one it is too with views of the beach, out to sea and the inshore islands. There is actually no need to walk into town as there is everything you need on the doorstep. We will stay here again.
Great stay! Hotel right on the beach (acces to the beachwalk from the hotel lobby) and rooms giving sea views or street views...unfortunately there is no fridge in the room nor A/C in each room also an important information it is advertised as double bed in the rooms but when we got there it is actually 2 twin bed (or 2 smaller than twin bed(weird right?!)) joined together to make one big bed...therefore creating a gap leaving A ridge between the 2 mattress! Made impossible to hug my wife!
Street view room gets a little hotter than sea view rooms
Street view rooms are a bit bigger than sea view rooms.
€15/person for breakfast is quite expensive.
Supermarket Intermaché is a 5mn walk from the hotel and the fortified city is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Hot noisy room
We were on a ground floor room by the front door and breakfast room.
it was very noisy from early in the morning with staff preparing breakfast right opposite our room.
It was very hot in the room. With no air-con we had to open the window onto the carpark. this meant no privacy. It also meant the smoke from people smoking outside blew straight into the room.
the hotel could have been very nice but unfortunately I would not stay there again unless guaranteed to be on an upper floor.

Liked: Cleanliness
Nice, but dated.
Nice hotel, staff ok, room old but clean. Shower was excellent and looked newly fitted. Not much to say but it was adequate. If you're lucky enough to have sea view that would help. We were on the road side. Noisy. 20 mins walk along beautiful beach to St Malo old city.
Good position for town or beach but no sitting room is a let down we had just 2 straight chairs looking out of the back door of the hotel and over the promenade and beach it was really only a back exit its a shame as the rest is good.

ok for a night.....
good hotel on the beach but avoid room number 2, its next to the kitchen/breakfast room and very noisy in the morning, the wifi was a joke, it comes and go and this was a real problem for us, not to mention the 15€ breakfast....
