Set in the tiny hamlet of La Rochette, "Les Glycines" is a large property owned by artists Matthew and Susan. This ensemble of charming properties have been carefully renovated with a traditional yet unique and quirky style, featuring hand designed and printed wallpaper, antique retro furniture and many original pieces of art.
Consisting of 3 individual 2 bedroom houses, Les Glycines is the perfect property for friends or family to get together while also having a private space to retreat to.
House 1
Set at the front of the property, "Maison de la Glycine" as the name suggests, is enveloped by a beautiful, large Wisteria tree. Once inside, there is a sitting room and bathroom leading off the large entrance hall, with 2 double bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs, the generously sized kitchen features a table with seating for 12 and is overlooked by a mezzanine area featuring a small day bed, a nice hideaway space for reading, playing, or just relaxing. The double doors lead from the kitchen, out to the patio and garden beyond.
House 2
At the end of the large forecourt, steps lead up to the veranda and entrance of "Maison des Vignes". Inside, you step into a large, well-equipped kitchen with a 4-place dining table. Off to the left is a cosy, dual-aspect sitting room. The garden can be accessed from here, via the French window and staircase leading down. A wooden staircase leads from the sitting room, up to two bright, comfortable double bedrooms and a large shower room.
House 3
Adjacent to Maison des Vignes is "Maison du Laurier" which is entered at ground level and features a large, open room that can be configured as a sitting room or games room with the available ping pong table. Upstairs there are two well-proportioned bedrooms; one Double and one with 2 single beds.
