It was an excellent house. Wish I stayed there in the summer. Very well equipped and excellent communication with the owner. The house itself is beautiful. I loved everything. The fire place was lovely. The garden is massive and well kept. You could just there and enjoy the house and the garden without the need to go anywhere in the summer. The house is very close to some beautiful places as there is a lot to explore in the area. We would love to come back when the weather is nicer.

Great place to stay.
We had a lovely holiday at Maison de Bonheur. The facilities were excellent. Lots for children and adults alike. There was a shed full of different types of outdoor games. We particularly liked the boules. The pool was lovely and we had great weather so made full use of it. The accommodation was good too. Lovely authentic bedrooms with plenty of space. The lounge and kitchen had everything you needed. All in all everyone enjoyed both the holiday and property. The nearest supermarket we found was at Ousimont, just a short drive away. We had a very easy journey from Calais to Sant-Maxent along the toll road A16. Our host Pauline was very attentive and quick to respond to messages. Thank you Pauline.

This is a lovely place for a family stay. The accommodation is spacious and the property is very well equipped with a nice pool, hot tub and sauna, plus a massive garden with lots of games to play including boules and table tennis. The owners were prompt to respond to any queries or issues. The local Intermarche is only 5 mins drive away and Abbeville is 12 mins drive away. The kids enjoyed the pool as well as spotting the local wildlife, such as a red squirrel, bats, shrews and lots of pretty birds.

Stunning property
Absolutely perfect property for our needs! Everything from the quality of furnishings to the spotless outside pool area. Lots to keep you entertained, such as the hot tub, sauna table tennis table , boules pitch and trampoline plus lots of other games! Age range was 3 to 68 and there was something for everyone! Het huis is heel goed uitgerust. Keuken met top fornuis, meer dan voldoende keukenmateriaal. De 'speelzaal' is top met een pooltafel, dartsbord, flipperkast en buiten is de petanquebaan zalig. Gewoon jammer dat de verlichting rond de petanquebaan stuk was. Het zwembad hebben we niet kunnen gebruiken, het was nog niet verwarmd. De slaapkamers waren allen ook goed, goeie bedden. Kortom een topverblijf!

Noël dans la maison du bonheur
Nous avons été enchanté dès notre arrivée en découvrant la jolie décoration mise en place spécialement pour notre reveillon de noël. Un vrai sapin, decoré avec goût. Le gîte était chaleureux et accueillant, nous avons ete touchés et séduits. Merci aux propriétaires.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison du bonheur porte très bien son nom ! Merci à Pauline pr sa disponibilité et pour avoir fait en sorte que nous puissions profiter un maximum, notamment de la piscine qui, compte tenu de la météo les jours précédents notre venue, soit à bonne température. Le soleil nous a fait le plaisir de se joindre à nous. Bref, nous recommandons cette belle location.

Heerlijk verblijf en goede hoost
Heel fijn verblijf gehad in het grote huis. Het zwembad en de jacuzzi zijn veel gebruikt en de stoelen en bank zijn er in overvloed waardoor je overal kan relaxen en activiteiten doen. Op de eerste dag hadden we een paar dingen aangegeven die niet werkten en de eigenaar is toen langs gekomen en heeft alles aangepakt. Het contact was heel leuk en hij kon goed Engels. Jammer genoeg deed de sauna het nog steeds niet nadat de eigenaar hiermee bezig was geweest maar hier kwamen we zelf te laat achter (waarschijnlijk was de eigenaar alsnog gekomen om er nog een keer naar te kijken). Denk er wel om dat er geen handdoeken aanwezig zijn. Wij dachten dit namelijk wel en hebben niks meegenomen. De eigenaar heeft toen alsnog handdoeken voor ons geregeld! In de keuken is alles wat je kan bedenken wel aanwezig. Heel fijn. In de buurt zijn een aantal dingen wel te bezoeken maar toen wij er zijn geweest (juni) waren veel restaurants niet open terwijl dit op google wel stond. Een heerlijke vakantie gehad bij het huisje!
