Set in the heart of the Correze and surrounded by stunning countryside this lovingly converted bread oven provides the prefect location for a peaceful getaway.
Visit one of the many local villages and experience the delights of the Correze, relax by one of the nearby lakes (both swimming and fishing) or simply enjoy the garden and bbq area, the choice is yours.
For those who prefer a little more energetic pursuits cycling and walking are very popular as is canoeing along the Vezere river.
This former bread oven and workshop have been lovingly and beautifully converted into a warm and welcoming gite.
The south facing private garden leads to the front door behind which you will find a relaxing lounge with its stone walls and original flooring. A wood burning stove nestles in one corner for the cooler autumn and winter evenings.
Walk through the lounge to find the fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
A door from the kitchen leads to the modern shower room, previously the inside of the bread oven, with its distinctive original curved stone wall.
A spiral staircase from the lounge takes you up to the bedroom with its open plan design and large double window providing a light and spacious feel.
The gite is completely self contained with a private south facing garden and dedicated parking.
Guests are welcome to access and walk through the other gardens. At least one early morning is recommended to see the sun rise over the mountains (not visible form the gite).
