The property was beautiful and parking was excellent. The host was very nice and helpful. There is no elevator so carrying luggage to third floor was a little challenging but doable.
Words cannot describe our trip with our “Maman” in Normandy. With all of the sights and memorials to see, to have a warm home and lovely welcome each night made us feel like a family member was there when we got back. We will miss her and cannot wait to come back. À bientôt Pertrus!
The owner/proprietor, Yseult, is welcoming and delightful. The manor is old and fascinating, quiet, comfortable and convenient to sites of interest around the Normandy beaches. Our “Family suite” worked very well for our group of two married couples.
My family had a fantastic stay at Manoir Saint Hubert. The manor is beautiful and in a peaceful spot that is easy walking distance to Bayeux. We were welcomed and made to feel comfortable during our stay.
Our stay at Manoir Saint Hubert couldn't have been better. The manor is beautifully decorated, and we had access to the lovely dining and living room. Outside was a large yard with flowers, an area to eat and comfortable chairs. Breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of pastries and bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, and beverages. Our hostess was very attentive to our needs. We were able to park our car at the property and walk 15 minutes into the heart of Bayeux. We felt very much at home at Manoir Saint Hubert.
I rarely write online reviews but I enjoyed my stay so much at Manor Saint Hubert that I decided to leave a review. The residence is a charming bed-and-breakfast style lodge that is run by a very kind and attentive inn keeper. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. The location is quiet but also not far from the center of town. I highly recommend it.
We had a wonerful stay in St Hubert for the first 4 days of our French trip. Yseult was warm and welcoming and provided great information about the area and places to visit. Delightful company and a great host. Will always remember our time here.
Our host was extraordinary. She looked after our every need. Her Manor is historical with every corner revealing a special vintage item. Truly incredible person and setting. She gave us perfect travel and dining recommendations. We loved the Manor.
Very small B&B. It only has two rooms, which our family used both rooms. Very personable owner/hostess. She was helpful for additions to itinerary and places to eat. A dog has run of the the home, which we enjoyed.
Bayeux has was a great home base to explore Normandy. Returned every night f of dinner.
We had a wonderful time at Manoir St Hubert. We were warmly greeted by our friendly and informative hostess and her hairy companion Petrus (a beautiful dog).
We felt very at home in a beautiful home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A great alternative to generic hotels, this family home was filled with character, offered a terrific breakfast to start your day and was located just a short walk from beautiful Bayeux, with its fabulous Cathedral,Tapestry exhibit, restaurants and much more a short drive away.
We visited many WWII relevant sites a short distance away, which our hostess was very informative on. I would highly recommend a stay here and look forward to visiting again in the future.
we had a wonderful stay in this gracious and quiet manor house. our host, isolde, was most kind and helpful. she helped us plan our daily tour of normandy and provided a delicious breakfast each morning. she was also a very interesting and well travelled person who was pleasure to have discussions with in the evening over a glass of calvados. our room was huge, luxurious, and super clean. the estate grounds were well kept. large and peaceful. this was so much better than any hotel. it is on the outskirts of town, so best to have a car.
An absolutely fantastic place. We had such a good time in an amazing home with a wonderful host. I can recommend Manoir St. Hubert to anyone visiting Bayeux.
Incredibly exciting to stay in such a beautiful manor in France! We had the whole upper story to ourselves. Yseult, the proprietor, is extremely kind, helpful, and lovely and prepared a fabulous breakfast for us every morning. House had everything we needed - we especially appreciated the large surplus of towels provided. Our ONLY complaint was that this hotel comes up on Expedia when filtering for air-conditioning, and it does not have A/C. Fortunately the weather was cool during our visit, but we usually require A/C when we travel. We LOVED our daily walks into Bayeux. Hope to go back someday!
