Lovely home, convenient to downtown
Very cute little weekend getaway spot. Nicely stocked kitchen (cookware, utensils, etc) that made cooking easy and convenient, and plenty of creature comforts around the house. We had a lovely time.

This house is beautiful on the inside and outside! The details throughout the house made it very welcoming. The layout of the house provided privacy for each person staying at the vrbo. The coffee provided was an added benefit. The temperature was comfortable through out the house. One minor issues that surfaced was communicated to the owners and they addressed my concern immediately.

No AC
Over-all ok. The property and location were nice. However, the house felt too much like someone's house. Stuff in the closet, kitchen with left over food, junk in the drawers. Not as professional and cleaned up as other places that we have stayed. Worst part was the lack of good AC. It was April and not that hot but the AC did not get the temp below 78. Texas humid, cannot stay in this place in summer. The temp was miserable at night even in these moderate conditions. Cannot recommend with-out a new AC.

Beautiful Vacation and Restful Environment
I can't say enough about how lovely and comfortable this property is for humans and wildlife. Lucky us for finding it and reserving it again for December. Everything is provided that you could possibly need from kitchen accessories to the bathroom necessities. Comfortable beds and those great sheets which I have already purchased for my own home. Being able to sit on the screened in back porch and observe mama deer and fawn, what an experience. Relaxing in the TV room with a glass of wine. Overall, I give this place all five stars and I will be back again and again to my favorite shopping town Salado. The people make the town so enjoyable.

GREAT STAY!!!
We stayed in Salado for a concert in Georgetown (Two Step Inn). The location was great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the TV room off of the kitchen. Had great communication with the host and they answered all of our questions quickly. Left a credit card at the house and they were quick to let us know and then mailed the card to us. Will definitely stay here again!

Loved the screened in porch
The property was decorated nicely. The furniture was comfortable. And there were ample supplies. The hall shower faucets didn't turn to full hot water; so the water was only warm. Hot water in the master bath shower went from hot to warm while showering. The master bath has not been renovated and there was no covering on the door in the master leading to the porch. We reported these things to the owner. We enjoyed the TV room and the round table in the dining area was great for playing cards. It rained while we were there, it was nice having a garage for our car when hail was a possibility. We went to several wonderful restaurants recommended by the owners. Salado is fun to explore for a weekend. The owners were very nice to work with.

Ladies get Away!
Wonderful House in a convenient location! This was a Ladies Retreat for the December Stroll in Salado! Loved the back porch! Everything was well laid out!! Furnishings so warm and comfortable. Beautifully decorated!! Comfortable beds! Host had left well written instructions! Coolest thing ever.... the deer just made themselves at home! Will definitely stay again!
