Owned by the Manchester Brewery JW Lees. Booked this as a one night stop over while visiting family. Sick and tired of the big named hotels and this place looked like a good alternative. The whole place is fantastic, nice boutique feel attached to a great pub serving a good selection of food and drinks. The staff throughout have been brilliant. The room is a very good size, very well appointed, clean, warm, comfortable with a host of quality fixtures and fittings. Breakfast is very good, a small but well thought out menu coupled with good service and good food.

The Balmore is a great hotel for socialising, great food and hospitality. The hotel rooms are quiet, very clean and a fabulous comfy bed. Reasonably priced for the overall quality.

This was a great pub and hotel. Small room, but very comfortable. Restaurant was great, as was the bar. We really enjoyed the stay.

10/10 - the property is EXCELLENT. I had a mixup with my reservation (my fault for booking the wrong date accidentally), and they got me a room immediately and the front desk staff were the nicest ever! Seriously - book this place! So worth it!
