Needs a little TLC
Very comfy clean bed, but room was in need of a deep cleaning. Dust and finger prints visible on walls. Bathroom had an odor. Staff was very nice and attentative. I had driven 12 hours and dealt with it. Bed was great!

Hotel is the worst hotel we have stayed,the hotel is dirty old,very dated no elevator saw multiple elderly persons go to 2d floor with luggage had to help as stairs are in bad condition we got in late were tired had no choice but never again.Please consider for the health of your clients to notify the health department.

This hotel is not maintained, the room was dingy, everything needed to be cleaned, painted, disinfected. Staff was pleasant but whoever owns the property has not invested in upkeep. Overall worst hotel I have been in.. ever.

Room had mold in the bathroom ceiling. Bathroom faucet did not work and was leaking. Switch to another room and AC was very noisy. Found tissue under the flat sheet in the bed. Will not stay in the future. This Baymont INN in Salem, VA needs major renovation.

This hotel did not provide a pleasant experience. The door to get into my room took a half hour to get into my room. Faucets and shower were leaking. I had to change rooms due to musty smell. Dogs barking all night. Place needs a big rehaul. Water from the faucets were greyish color. This place was terrible and needs a complete rennovation of everything. I would not recommend staying here at all. Worst place ever stayed without a doubt.

we chose this property for price and proximity to i81. we got in late and left early, so we were not looking for much more than a place to sleep. our room was clean as were the common areas. There looks to be a lot of items that were dated or in slight disrepair, but that is what I expect in this price range. Breakfast was OK, but once again, expected. Staff was great and friendly. Would choose again under the same circumsrances.

Gross/If u want to get High stay here!
It totally sucked. If we weren’t so tired or couldn’t pay for a different hotel we would have left. At check in the overwhelming smell of marijuana was crazy. Then we had to endure the smell all night. The shower had a gross mat in it and the hot and cold water was mixed up! Please travelers stay away from here! Go anywhere else!
