A beautiful spacious villa high up above Salobrena in a tranquil residential area. The location is a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the world, while being only 5km from Salobrena and it's beaches, bars, shops and restaurants. The villa is well equipped, with a kitchen, dining room, lounge and an en-suite bedroom downstairs, with 3 bedrooms (1 with en-suite) and the main bathroom upstairs.
There is a dining terrace overlooking the pool and a large balcony accessible from 2 of the upstairs bedrooms, where you can relax and look down to the sea below. There is plenty of outside space, lawned areas, fruit trees and a private heated 8m x 4m pool with terrace. The heated pool is a real bonus for holidays outside the main summer months.
The villa is well-equipped with cool/heat air conditioning in the living space and bedrooms, and there is wifi available via fast fibre broadband.
The villa garden is fully enclosed on all sides by a wall and entry is through the electric gate into an area providing parking for 3/4 vehicles. The whole site is peaceful and affords a good degree of privacy.
There are also communal facilities available nearby where you can enjoy a large swimming pool with children's pool, with adjoining outdoor cafe open during the summer months. There is also a football pitch and a tennis court.
The property is supervised by an agency in the immediate locality, and they are available to help with any queries which may arise.
Access to the villa is in about 1 hour from either Malaga (90km) or Granada (70 km) airport, using the new motorway links that are now in place. Car hire is essential to get the best from your stay and we can advise on this if required.
There are many options for exploring the surrounding area. The local town of Salobrena with it's hilltop Moorish castle is a 5-10 minute drive where all facilities are available, including the beachside chiringitos serving a variety of local dishes. Almunecar with it's Roman ruins, bustling centre, old town and markets is 15 minutes back along the coast towards Malaga.
Further afield you can visit Granada and the Alhambra Palace, Nerja with it's famous caves and a trip into the Alpujarras mountains hopping between the beautiful white-washed villages is a must. Even skiing is possible within 75 mins drive in the Sierra Nevada, between November and April. The largest nearby commercial centre is Motril (10km) which is a thriving town that immerses you in the real Spain.
A golf course is situated on the coast 10 minutes drive away.
The whole area surprises visitors because it couldn't be more different from the usual Spanish holiday area. Here you come to relax, and enjoy everything that is Spanish, perhaps even a little of the language and certainly the picturesque scenery which dominates the region.

Equally it is an ideal place for couples/adults to get away from it all with its lovely tranquil location where you can truly escape the hectic world.
