Choosing the garden rooms vs the tower is a big difference. What you save, you give up in ambiance and charm. However - you get all the amenities and service of a grand, beautiful 5 star hotel

The hotel had good points, but 1 or 2 areas that need improvement. We had 2 rooms in the older motel building. They are showing signs of age. One room had a dangling shower head (quickly fixed) and loss of hot water on the last day. We also had a maintenance man right outside our window at 6:30 am speaking louding (in French) on his phone. He kept it up for 45 minutes. I really did not want to get up that early. On the positive side- the Coffee shop is first rate, both in menu and price. Service was excellent. Lobby is beautiful and welcoming. Front desk staff was very helpful. The hotel is right across the street from the transit station. Getting to the airport is a breeze- green line, free zone. Getting around downtown is easy.

Very nice and comfortable hotel!
I really enjoyed Little America. It has lots of amenities, friendly and helpful staff, and is quite clean and comfortable. I appreciated that the restaurant and room service were still open after my late arrival, and the outdoor pool was nice to hang out to read and swim. Please note that the "Garden" rooms are a bit of a misnomer - very few of the rooms look out on the pretty fountain and lawn shown in the picture. Most of them look out on the parking lot or one of the busiest streets in SLC. I would definitely stay there again, however, and either try for a tower room or just know in advance where the rooms are.
