Notice of airport shuttle suspended and a $10/day parking was mentioned only after paying for the reservation. The ad said it had airport shuttle and nothing of the daily parking fee.

The drains on sink and bathtub were very slow. I need up standing in water up to my ankles during shower. We advised the front desk as we checked out and she thanked us and said she would send referral to maintenance. The front of the building needed to be cleaned. Garbage.

Went to take a bath after hours of travel. The tub drain wouldnt close completely. No matter what i did the water drained. Called maintenance. They claimed to have fixed it. However even after they left the tub was still draining while in the "drain closed" position. I ended up having to hold a baggie over the drain with my foot holding the bag in place.

Its a nice property and next to the Family History Library where I go to research. I have visited this hotel 10 times now and always good service. The breakfast room is an option for breakfast but I am not fond of the selections except for cereal as there a no lo-carb options. I don't mind paying for breakfast(as you pay for items) but the quality isn't great, nor the options. The gift shop is great and offers a variety of travel needs and local artisan items. I will return.

Great location, great staff
I was a little bummed no vending machine with food, as no real food options near by the hotel. I didn’t verify this in person but I read it in the room’s info sheet when I arrived really late that night and was hungry for anything. Staff was really nice, bed super comfy. Street noise worrisome as the street had big noisy metal plates on it, and could hear big long banging sounds as cars passed, even on my 11th floor while I was awake. But I slept through it. So maybe wasn’t as bad as I worried it would be.

Clean but needs some TLC
The employees were great - helpful and responsive but there are numerous issues that need to be addressed. *ice maker on the 10th floor didn’t work-there should have been a sign. walked down to the 9th floor and it was the same situation. Broken, no sign. Went to the front desk and they said that some of them just don’t work. Finally found one on the 6th floor. *came in from the parking garage and the key card wouldn’t work. Tried for several minutes before just walking around to the front. The front desk said that again, it’s a known issue that it doesn’t work about as often as it does. *Curtains need adjusted - they don’t open/close easily *the hair dryer sounded like it was going to spark and catch on fire. I left a note with it and hope to hell they replaced it! *several items on the remote don’t work - no sleep timer or closed caption. *thermostat!!! It only went down to 68° - WTH? Some people like it much colder and when you’re paying hundreds of dollars to sleep there, I’d like it as cold as I want. * That being said, the people at the front desk were always very nice, friendly and helpful. Even with an evacuation due to a suspicious package, they were polite and helpful.

Crystal Inn 1st preference, this is 2nd
Improved then last time. Advantages are its in the middle of the town so downtown is 2 mins walk. Disadvantages are no hot breakfast. Staff is good though.
