Stunning Coastal Lodge
Kittiwake Lodge is nestled in The Pines, a stunning selection of holiday homes at the picturesque Runswick Bay. This stylish detached, spacious open plan lodge has been tastefully designed with fresh interiors ideal for total relaxation by the sea! There is everything one could need for escaping the everyday without giving up on luxuries - a king size bed, smart TV and walk in shower, to name but a few.
The Pines is a beautiful selection of modern lodges all nestled within a peaceful and tranquil location beside the stunning fishing village of Runswick Bay on the North Yorkshire Coast. Runswick is known as one of the Yorkshire Coast’s prettiest destinations with its sweeping, sheltered bay and charming quaint red roof cottages. The sandy beach, which once provided anchorage for brightly coloured fishing boats and was a hub for smuggling activities in the 18th and 19th centuries, is now a family favourite for rock pooling, fossil hunting and coastal walks, where you can admire the breathtakingly stunning sea views.
Sleeping up to 8 guests Kittiwake Lodge is ideal for families or small groups of friends wishing to explore the Yorkshire Coastline and the stunning dramatic North Yorks Moors National Park. In the perfect locations for walkers, with scenic coastal paths offering breathtaking views of the North Sea.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day out or an adventure-filled weekend, Kittiwake Lodge and Runswick Bay is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the beauty of the North Yorkshire coastline.
Offering FREE Parking and welcoming dogs.
THE SPACE
As soon as you step inside this beautiful lodge you are immediately struck by the stylish interior, with uncompromising attention to detail throughout; it is a wonderful open plan space for gathering with family or friends.
Hunker down in the cosy living space with stylish sofas perfectly positioned around the large smart TV and coal effect electric log burner with plenty of space to relax and catch up on the day’s adventures.
The dining area offers plenty of space for everyone to gather around and enjoy a hearty Yorkshire breakfast whilst planning the days adventures. The modern, exceptionally well-appointed kitchen has everything any budding chef could require and is very much the heart of this welcoming open plan social space.
French doors lead onto the enclosed decking where you can sit with a glass of wine or enjoy alfresco dining should the weather permit!
Kittiwake Lodge has three beautifully appointed bedrooms all offering a calm colour palette and the odd nautical accessory! The first bedroom has a super comfy king bed which takes centre stage along with useful storage and complete with an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is laid out with twin beds and the third has been cleverly adapted to house 2 sets of beautifully designed bunk beds – making this the perfect space for all the children to hunker down together with cute little port holes to enjoy watching the sunrise or to enjoy some star gazing!!
A family bathroom completes this stunning lodge with shower over bath, basin and wc.

Walkers can also explore the coastal and moorland views on offer along the spectacular Cleveland Way.
Positioned close to Staithes, which offers a host of additional eateries, quaint shops and a superb art gallery to peruse or just five miles south along the coast brings you to the popular resort of Whitby where you can discover the history of Dracula, explore the Abbey and wander through the nooks and crannies of old Whitby town, don’t forget to try the world beating fish n chips too!
Continue further south along the coast towards Robin Hood's Bay, home of the National Trust's Old Coastguard Station, before making your way to the Victorian resort of Scarborough and be spoilt for choice by its two sandy beaches, imposing Castle and family-friendly attractions, including the SEA LIFE centre and the stunning Japanese-inspired Peasholm Park.
