This was our first time staying at this property. We loved it. It was truly a resort with plenty of entertainment options. The drinks from the bar were excellent and the Angus burger was great. Unfortunately the Lazy river was closed due to a hail storm the night prior. The front desk staff assured us it would be operational the next day and we would habe access until 4pm. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

The outdoors are beautiful. However, the rooms need more maintenance, they are a bit too old. The Restaurant food can be a lot better, and the servide of the people watching the pool can also be a lot better, they leave you on your own.

Loved that we could swim in January! The pools, including the lazy river, were all heated. The hot tubs were great. They weren’t overly pushy about the timeshare tour but you have to go over to get your parking pass and listen to the pitch. They were kind about it. We enjoyed the fire pits in the evening and everyone we came across was friendly. 2 things: not many dining options so bring your food. They have grills. Microwave and toaster in the room. They do have 1 restaurant but it seemed like overpriced grill food so we passed. Other thing, which is a first for me ever- the person in the room next to us snored all night and I swear they were next to my bed. So either the walls are paper thin or they they configure the rooms with headboards together against the wall- it kept me up all night. Hotel can’t do anything for noise but maybe placing beds on opposite walls of neighboring rooms would help. Overall; we had a really great stay!

Great family resort, lazy river is fantastic. Waterslides and indoor/outdoor pool was a big hit with kids. We loved making Smores at the big fire pits. The grounds are surrounded by trees, creates a very relaxing enviroment.

Our room was not ready on time, but staff made it right! I would have liked instructions for dealing with trash…. Our room cleaner will have a big bag! The lights for the main sign were not on most nights so it was a little tricky to find. We had a smoke detector problem that was remedied by merely removing the unit…. Not repairing or replacing it. This was the first night and it never was fixed. Not sure if that’s the safest idea,

We had an excellent stay! The staff were attentive and friendly. The property is beautifully maintained and great for families. The only restaurant at the resort (JB’s) serves overpriced drinks and bar food that is just okay. There are lots of dining options close to the resort where you can get better food for less money.

Pretty cool place
Hot water heater was out when we got there called they sent us someone within 30mins said it was fixed but would take a while for water to heat up morning still no hot water called they went back to work on it. Had up and running by noon. Other than that had a great time with the amenities on property. Would highly consider coming back to tour the property

Advertised for families and kids but really more for couples and adults.. the dining and drinks are extremely expensive, $20 for one drink! No wifi but yet you pay $35 additional fee nightly for their resort stuff.. camp amardillo (kids area) was closed.. rather stay at hotel with free breakfast and working wifi..just be prepared to spend alottt of money if you stay here..
