Absolute Oasis in Helotes

I can’t say enough great things about our stay here. The owners are so nice and the cabin was absolutely what we needed. Peace and quiet, they have everything you need for a family with kids. Pack and play, toys, kids book, playground, all the pots and pans, COLD AC, fire pit. We will be coming back many times! We went to sea world and the zoo, it’s close to everything but secluded. Beautiful night sky and El Chapparel was awesome, splurge for the margs!

Concert trip

Went to see concert at John T Floore’s store in Helotes. Location of cabin was 9 miles from the concert location. Recommend visiting Boerne also for walking and shops. 20 min drive away

Charming Property

This is our second stay here and we love it. It is so cute, super clean, Christmas decorations were adorable. We had such a great stay - lots of games, great outdoor area - decorated porch, fire pit, lights - just the best. My daughters and I love the break from regular city life. We will be back!

Darling getaway

This cabin is delightful! It's filled with literally everything you need for a great stay. It's quiet which is so welcome after visiting San Antonio. If I'm ever down that way again, I would definitely stay another time.

A very comfortable house

We stayed here for our friends wedding which was a few miles down the road at The Oaks at Heavenly. The property has lots of cool trees and the house has really nice open floor plan.

Best of Both Worlds

Our family chose this property because it seemed to be a good balance between proximity to San Antonio and a quiet retreat. The property didn’t disappoint in either regard! We loved being able to take in the sites during the day in the city with a reasonable drive, and return to the property for a campfire dinner and s’mores. The home is well-appointed and immaculately clean. Would highly recommend.

Really Truly Charming

EVERY LITTLE DETAIL is taken care of. Some examples: 1. All power outlets have kids safe protectors. 2. My 6 year old locked the toilet door... walked out and shut it. So everyone was locked out. They had the lock release key strategically kept outside each door to handle this! 3. Everything you need to light the fire pit (wood all chopped up (big logs, smaller ones, figs), lighter fluid, paper to aid in lighting fire, lighter, matches etc.) 4. All utensils & kitchen machines you would need. 5. Had a library of many family movie DVDs. We didn't even use the ones we got along. 6. Well wooded/shaded property. It could be 100F outside in the open.. but the backyard will feel perfect. AMAZING difference all the trees make. 7. Gated property adding to safety/security. 8. Nora (the owner) replied immediately to all my messages. This is a huge help as you are not burning vacation time figuring things out. 9. Complete privacy for you + peace of mind of having help nearby if you need it. 10. Neat, clean, immaculate. Overall.... It was such a pleasure to stay there. It will be about clear the heart & soul Nora had put into this house to make you feel at home. It's not a customer-in-a-hotel feel... but a homely feel.
