This is a beautiful hotel. Convenient to Riverwalk, alamo, shopping and dining. Movie theater inside Riverwalk mall as well.

What the hotel lacks in architectural style and amenities, it makes up in location and affordability. Upon entering the hotel which is built on top of a multi-level parking garage we were greeted by a friendly staff. Our room was clean and we appreciated the ample closet space and chest of drawers. Adequate shelf space in the bathroom area, though the fixtures needed some updating. Across the street from the hotel entrance there is a staircase down to the the River Walk. The hotel has a bar that offers a limited and uninspiring food menu. The Riverwalk Plaza is a solid 3-star hotel. If you plan on spending most of your time out and about seeing the sights or on business, then this hotel is a good choice.

This hotel is very old and things didn’t work , such as the heat and the over all look and feeling was definitely cheap with poor quality.

The hotel did not have my prepaid reservation. It took me 1.5 hours on the phone to resolve with Travelocity. Isabelle at reception desk tried everything to help me out and was also working with Travelocity for 1.5 hours.

The restroom had hair on the floor and in the shower. I didn’t feel like it was clean. The beds were hard. The “view of the Riverwalk” technically yes, but, it’s a part of the riverwalk where there is not any restaurants or boats, etc. The checkin was quick! There was an area downstairs for watching TV and they had some cool games. The pool and area around the pool was very nice!
