Amazing remodeled Beach Bungalow with brand new air conditioning!! Only 40 steps from the beach, enjoy the third-story rooftop patio with 360 view including Pacific Beach, La Jolla and the bay. Take it all in as you cook on your outdoor gas barbecue.
Steps away from beautiful Mission Beach and close to the bay. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom have queen-sized beds. New sectional couch with pull out sleeper. New stainless steel appliances. Large new 55" 4K TV in living room, TV's in each bedroom. Washer dryer in unit. New high end stone counter top through out. Free wireless high speed internet. There is designated parking in the garage directly next to the unit. DOGS ARE PERMITTED w/ Owner approval (a pet fee is charged). Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cups wine glasses, etc... well stocked. Best location because we are one house from boardwalk so you get the views without the massive number of people walking in front of your home. Steps away from the bayside. Stroll down to Belmont Park, Mission Beach's amusement park full of Fun and activities for all. Also very close to restaurants, bars, shops and the Crystal Pier. Best value in San Diego's beautiful Mission / Pacific Beach.

Mission Beach Condo
The location was greagt. The garage door opener did not work when we arrived and did not get fixed until the next day. There was no table or chairs in kitchen. We founda a card table and chairs in the garage and we had to use. The coffee pot did not work but owner did offer to bring over another one. Beds were comfortable but hthere were no dressers in front bedroom.

Property needs a lot of love
While the location of this rental is great, there is little else to recommend it. It appears not to have been maintained in years, and the furnishings are lacking. - Paint is worn, patched and peeling. - A panel of unfinished drywall is screwed into the ceiling. It is not flush, not primed, not painted. - Stairs have gouges out of them - Stair rail is not attached to the wall, sits about an inch away - Six chairs on rooftop outdoor space are rusted and broken, piled in a corner along with two rusty propane tanks for grill. - Grill was caked with grime - There is no dining table by the kitchenette. The only place to eat indoors is at the coffee table in front of the couch. - The light fixture that would be for a dining table is dangling by electrical wires. - The bed in the master bedroom sags deeply, we couldn’t use it - There are no side tables next to the bed in the master bedroom - The ac while cool doesn’t have vents to the bedroom. To get cool air, doors must be open so there’s no privacy - The only outdoor space is up two narrow flights of stairs from the kitchen, and the door handle needs maintenance or replacement - Blinds in the master bedroom are threadbare and broken with holes - There is a non-working, stacked, rusty washer and dryer with wood rot near the base in the downstairs bathroom. (Working washer and dryer are in the garage) - WiFi didn’t work initially. It took 2 days to get working. - Kitchen sink drains poorly

Perfect beach house
This was the perfect beach house for our one week vacation. 40 steps to the beach, quiet area and less than a mile to Belmont Park. Walk to shops and restaurants. Clean house, Comfortables beds, Direct TV, rooftop grill and great AC. 10/10.

Amazing weekend trip
My daughters (12 and 10) and I spent Mother’s Day weekend here. We had the best time! The location is amazing - we didn’t rent a car and didn’t need one. Check in and out were so easy and the house had everything we needed, including boogie boards in the garage. Steps from the beach, restaurants and shops, and short walk to Belmont Park. We did take a trip to La Jolla with a local friend and did the kayak cave tour - also recommend!

I gave 1star for cleanliness due to the fact that when we checked in at 4:00 the house had not been cleaned. I reached out to Fausto and he had the cleaning ladies come, which inconvenienced us for a few hours. Once I got over being upset , we ended up enjoying the house and the location. It’s pretty basic but had everything we needed.

Ideal location
Loved the location and property was nice overall. Rooftop patio chairs were all rusty, missing slats, and unusable. Grill was not clean. We also had 5 people in our party, but no extra bedding provided. There was an air mattress and couch but nothing to put on them. No broom available to minimize sand. Otherwise we were comfortable and enjoyed access to the beach, bay, and numerous eateries.

Pretty description
It need a few things updated but overall not bad. The garage is a little tough to fit in but thats pretty normal for the area. It was in fact 40 steps to the beach. There is a nice bar down on the corner not far away and the olive has wonderful cinnamon rolls 3 doors away. I replaced the grilling utensils since the ones there were super rusty, which was no big deal just glad to help out the next person. The beds were soft and i slept like a baby. The view isnt the best from the roof with the power lines and house in front but when you're that close you just go down to the beach to see it.

Great time!
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location was perfect. We were able to use the grill on the rooftop one night which was so great to have that private space. It was also a nice surprise to find some beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage to use. There were a few things that are needing repairs, but I wouldn’t hesitate to book and stay here again.

Nice Mission Beach pad
After a small initial hiccup which was resolved by our host promptly we had a wonderful time in Mission Beach and loved our house with its great rooftop terrace. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and Mission Bay as well. All we needed was within walking distance including a wonderful bike rental place. Thank you Fausto for hosting!

Great location
We enjoyed the location and amenities and would stay again. There were several malfunctioning items during our stay warranting the four starts. The garage door did not open with the remote and the host said he would come fix it during our stay and did not. The washer and dryer in unit did not work but there did happen to be backups in the garage. There were no curtains on the bedroom windows just blinds that only slightly kept light out which complicates traveling with kids when rooms are bright at 5 AM. There were no rugs or throw blankets or comfort measures like that. Fairly bare bones overall considering the price for the location. But a very great location with fantastic food options and beach access.

Great location, reasonable price, but Dirty
Upon arrival, it was clear the place hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard, hair and grime in the corners, dirt and dust covered all vents, trim, and ceiling fans. The dishwasher was filthy, plumbing hardware was flimsy, and many window latches were broken. Chipped floors, dented walls, tarnished/rusty fixtures. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable, and the bed in the largest bedroom has no slats supporting the mattress. The couch is sagging in many areas, and the cushioning has worn away. Most windows are single pane, so it’s noisy, and there are no bedroom blackout curtains. Not ideal for napping toddlers. The wifi is spotty on the second floor. The owner is responsive by text, we didn’t have wifi on Day 1, and that was fixed by Day 2, and he did send a cleaner on Day 3, but they had limited supplies, so they just wiped down the dishwasher. We also requested extra sheets and blankets, and those were sent to us within a day. The main floor only has blackout curtains, so you have to choose between dark privacy, or having pedestrians look in on you. The garage is tiny. We parked a Toyota Camry and had to completely unload before pulling into the garage, and the driver had to squeeze out. Will a GMC Denali fit? Yes, but you would have to crawl out the sunroof to exit the truck. The roof top space, and the included beach toys and chairs were great, but the lack of attention to cleanliness and comfort left us with a less-than-ideal experience.

Pleasant place and amazing location!
We stayed at the place for 5 nights and we found it perfect for our stay. The place is nice, clean, functional. The best part is definitely the location. It is literally a few steps away from the beach, walking distance from Belmont Park, but not too close, which means it is still relatively calm. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. I recommend it.

Perfect location.
Park your car and enjoy the walking distance to beach and a couple of restaurants including a coffee shop. No need to drive again. We even rented bikes nearby for something different.

Location is great. The neighborhood is great. Calm with some eateries and bars near. The pacific beach is literally steps away and the bay side is 2 tiny blocks away. A few blocks away to the north and to the south it gets busier and there arre more people, commercial areas with more restaurants, stores and bars

Great location but we had a lot of other issues.
The location to the beach is great but we experienced many other issues that would prevent us from staying here again or from recommending it to others. The property was not ready for us to check in even though we arrived 4 hours past “check in time”. The description is misleading in the quality of the “remodel” that was recently done. It is very clearly not being cleaned by a professional company and the garage was a mess. All the bedding including pillows and mattresses really need to be replaced as well as the couch and rug in the main living area. We didn’t realize there was no table to eat but found a folding table and chairs in the garage that we brought in and cleaned ourselves because they were filthy. We tried calling the property manager and their secondary contact but never head back from either party. There wasn’t really anything they could have done while we were staying at the property to fix many of the issues, but we would not trust the quality of what they are staying they offer and the property condition.
