The location is unbeatable. Being adjacent to the Little Italy neighbourhood, there is no shortage of good eateries within walking distance. Also within strollable distance from the Maritime museum on the waterfront. Generally safe area to walk in but like in most large city downtown areas, you just need a little common sense to stay safe.

I had a nice stay there. Def recommend! The location was great, and my ocean view room had a beautiful view! However, my room was separated from the neighboring room by a door, which wasn’t ideal since I could hear them talking. Fortunately, they were pretty quiet lol! I also think the breakfast could be improved. There aren’t many options, and the portions are more snack-sized than meal-sized.

First time stay in downtown San Diego
Had to find a hotel near downtown due to a wedding we needed to attend. Found this hotel at a reasonable price which was only two blocks away from the venue. Rooms were clean and nice. Our stay was a short 2 nights and was very satisfied with the hotel. Love the morning bag breakfast and my kids loved having a coffee/hot chocolate machine down in the lobby.

Everything was fine with the exception of the horrible lumpy beds.we asked to change rooms and they would not so we cut our trip short.they claimed the beds were recently replaced. Make sure youre not put in a room by the elevator because its pretty loud.

The rooms are larger and well kept. It is a short ride from the airport and walking distance to the cruise port. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel

Get a Bayview room with a balcony. It was really beautiful during the date and at night with the city lights. I was there 4 days and 3 nights and no one came by for trash or to refresh the towels. Bed was a little hard for my liking.

Super convenient, clean, comfortable!
We stayed here for a weekend and it was a perfect hotel. The parking was convenient, the to-go breakfast bags were great, the room was super comfortable, we had a great view of the bay, it was in a great area with lots of restaurants and bars and whatnot in walking distance. The pool and hot tub were a delightful addition. Overall wonderful spot.
