Little to no insulation between rooms, could hear everything connected neighbors where doing. Room had a very heavy smell of bleach and ants. Put the do not disturb sign up, cleaning crew still came in, appears to have thrown away some toiletries items we had brought with us.

Stayed 1 night. As we entered our room, we were greeted with a strong smell of bleach. Room looked decent but run down walls, sockets, tub. Beds felt like air mattresses and for some reason, the area around the bed, it smelled mildewy, which was pretty gross. Also, only 1 out of 3 ice machines worked. Parking is an additional $20. Parking is limited, barely found a parking space after we got back late from a concert, noticed some cars didn’t even have hotel guest parking slip, so the parking lot was a free for all. Decent for 1 night.

Location is excellent if a bit crowded on the hill. Staff were friendly and room was clean. I withheld perfect marks for a combination of reasons, parking was additional cost, the building our room was in had plastic sheeting on the floor and smelled, the overall facility is very much looking its age and the shower head needed replacing and the pressure at the shower was terrible.

Was good for a weekend but the first day we got there, there were ants in our bathroom. We went to go report it and just got told “sorry about that” and employee just stared at us until we asked for a different room. Sadly there were no rooms available so maintenance came to spray some bug spray. The spray worked for one night then they were back the next day.

Overall nice experience!
This hotel is centrally located on hotel circle in mission valley so that was a plus--it was as advertised but beware of the somewhat hidden $20 per night parking fee--when I mentioned it they were very friendly about it and waved the charge! No room service didn't bother me and everything else was fine so I would recommend this--especially if you can get a discounted rate...

Staff was friendly and courteous. Place was clean for an older facility. However, saw multiple prostitutes walking around during the stay. That could of been why we saw security walking around. But, that could have been because of the area of San Diego. No contential breakfast, which is kind of a bummer.
