The hotel was very nice and great location. You can walk to restaurants, shopping and along the water. Elevators are very old and a little scary but they said they will be updating them soon. Front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful. Checked in online and we saw that our room was ready but still made everyone wait until 4pm to check in. When you asked for any information they would say wait for the app. Not even sure why they had front desk staff if they weren’t going to help guests.

Rather than the room being decent. Parking was atrocious and didn’t really have much space to begin with I can’t recommend this place in good conscience with how poorly they treated my family.

It is a nice hotel close to see shore naval museum and broad walk. Also it is close to Little Italy section of the city. Only drawback is that there is a train railway behind the hotel and the passing trains can be heard. It also means the light train stop was very close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good too.

Trains run all night! It was noisy. The stairs are a safety issue. The stairs very confusing because they only take you to the parking garage, which is gated and locked, unless you take your room key. In case of emergency, we need to be able to get to the lobby and out the front door. Breakfast and coffee was good!

Hotel is okay with good breakfast and pretty good location. Mind you it is next door to the train tracks so you do get noise. Elevators are ancient and feel like they are falling apart.

This is a perfect location for getting around San Diego. The light rail system is right around the corner and can take you all over the city. The waterfront is 2 blocks away and you can see the bay from the hotel. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I’d stay here again for sure.
