The staff was extremely nice. The location was very convenient. The room was extremely small And claustrophobic The window had the perfect view of a wall and nothing else

Amazing property! Convenient and in the heart of Little Italy. Perfect for dinner options, desserts, drinks and music. The only issue is the parking. It’s $35 a day and absolutely horrible. Limited with small spaces and just a mess. Do parking research beforehand or use a ride share option when in town.

The location is fantastic, especially as we only had planned a short visit to SD. Lots to do and eat within walking distance and otherwise very conveniently located (Balboa Park and the Airport were quick rides). The room was comfortable and clean. The bed and shower were great. It was a bit noisy in the evening but that’s a worthy trade-off to be so central. The only ‘negative’ was that the whole room became unusually humid and warm after a shower. For the price though, I’ll come back here without a doubt if I travel back to SD someday.

A pretty standard hotel, but everything is as it should be. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The décor is somewhat austere for my tastes. A bit of weekend party noise from the streets outside, but not so loud as to keep you awake. Kind of fun, actually. Little Italy is a great place to stay.

The room was comfortable and the neighborhood is very lively. There was a farmer’s market right in front on the Saturday when I stayed at the hotel.

The only drawback was incredibly loud music from local restaurants and loud delivery trucks starting around 4 am each day.Also from bathroom right inside entrance were 2 large steps to navigate to get into bed area.No night lights meant leaving the bathroom light on to navigate to the bathroom.Light was pretty bright and lit up the sleeping area

My room was extremely small, nothing like the pictures. The bed was about a foot away from the wall all around, no closet or full sized mirror. The lighting was horrible. Additionally, the room smelled disgusting and the AC made so much noise, it sounded like a fire alarm.

Overall, my stay and comfort was fully satisfactory. But, my reception at checking in was dull and "programmed". Without even saying hello or welcome or something friendly, the person immediately asked for my ID and a credit card. Very cold and impersonal. After a few questions on her experience with this hotel, she blurted out 3 years. No wonder for the lack of enthusiasm and graciousness of incoming customers. Further explanation of 2 other jobs mean this person really doesn't care much about a first impression quality experience. Time to move on, in my opinion. In contrast, when I left early the next day, the representative was positive and actually wished me, genuinely, a great day and a thank you. Wow, that was easy and valued. Something for management to investigate further.

For that price you must have thongs done right.
For the price they ask, the rooms are smaller than my bathroom... The rooms are very muggy. Their conditioners are awful. Date that 'upgrade" us to a different room. However, for the price that we pay, we shouldnt jabe thiae kind of problems.
