Staff was great with communication through phone and emails and was friendly and helpful in person as well. Just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants. Olive Cafe and the bakery are a must. Parking was limited next to the hotel but you can reserve a spot. Room was clean and well furnished.

No Staff After 5PM
Great hotel once settled in but there was a communication break down about the lack of on site staffing after 5PM. Be aware that nobody is at work here other than 9-5 business hours, and it took me hours to get someone on the phone to provide parking and WiFi login information. The remainder of my trip was lovely, but this was a very rocky start.

What made the place a high rating was the girl working the front desk. She was very attentative and the things that this poor girl had to do to accommodate everyone was above and beyond. Give this girl a raise. The room was clean and parking is easily accessible but you will have a guaranteed parking for 25 dollars a night in front of your room. It was quite a show the 1st night but the situation was resolved immediately by the front desk. Everything is in walking distance and the Steak house (Moe's) is right down the street which was amazing as well. Thank you Boardwalk Hotel for making it a great getaway from society.

Nice little place, clean and conveniently located.No complaints at all other than the support bar needs to be put back on the sofa sleeper. Which is no big deal and we never mentioned it so it’s just as much on us. I was gonna just put it back on myself but couldn’t find a screwdriver and my son said it wasn’t bothering him. Will definitely put this place on my favorites list for our next trip down there

Perfect weekend getaway spot
Loved staying here! Super cute room with lots of little comforts. Perfect for a weekend getaway or even a longer stay due to the kitchen features. Bathroom had alot of upscale features which we enjoyed. Comfortable bed and even a small outdoor sitting nook. Perfect location as it sits between the bay and the beach both only minutes to walk too. Close to restaurants as well. Will definitely be back again.

I asked for early check in initially was told 1-2pm I shopped up at 1:50 with no one at front desk maid said “room isn’t ready yet” I waited about 30 more minutes then she said the room was ready but we could not get the code on the door to work… maid wound up calling front desk who was “on lunch” to ask for the code. She called me and said “yeah it usually doesn’t work until 4” kinda implying it was my fault even though I asked for an early check in that was granted…. Then the second day in my toilet started making really weird LOUD bubbling noises and not flushing…. The air vent fan was also making super loud noises making it hard to sleep. Cute hotel, but probably won’t stay there again or recommend to others.

We stayed here for two nights while in SD for a wedding. Super nice rooms with kitchenet. Hot tub was an absolute treat! Funky & stylish. Right across the road from the beach! Staff was very accommodating with keeping our bags after check-out. Loved it

This place was amazing on one side you had the bay and the other side was the beach. The hotel itself was one of a kind. Pictures did it no justice as it was so much more Gorgeous in person. The amenities were amazing! I will definitely stay here every time I come to visit.
