Let us accommodate your stay to San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico. LA CASITA sleeps 2 people. Sunrises are incredible creeping up over the horizon of the Sea of Cortez. The magnificent sunsets to the west on the La Sierra San Pedro Martir Mountains are memorable. When it's time for a Full Moon you will be in for a treat as it comes up over the Sea. If you are here during the full moon El Dorado Ranch offers bocce on the beach to visitors (and that would be you) with FREE Mexican Hotdogs. Yummy!!! It's a FUN event and a fantastic place to watch the moon rise in all its glory and meet folks from the EDR community. It could easily make your stay at Casa de Katalina a memorable experience!

Casa de Katalina has been acquiring a lovely reputation from wonderful guests from all over Mexico from Canada to Chicago to Turkey! And even guests from San Felipe! Once you reserve the nights you request, the Owner emails you directly to discuss any changes (rates), pet care, etc. before accepting your booking. Watch for SPECIALS every month all year round.

COME AND ENJOY THE BEACH, GOLF, SWIM AT THE POOL, PLAY CROQUET, TENNIS OR PICKET BALL, SHOP & EAT WONDERFUL SEAFOOD ON THE MALECON. We have some great Taco Tuesdays all around San Felipe, just ask the Owner.

Casa de Katalina is separate from the Casa Grande (the main home) where Owner Katalina lives all year round. Entrance to your abode is private. Owner always respects your privacy and has her own agenda. You are on your own here to just thoroughly ENJOY your private time.

Pool and gate passes are provided with your booking and are required for entry on to El Dorado Ranch, a gated community. Because of recent HOA changes we cannot accept Saturday arrivals after 11 a.m. Rules require owners and vacationers to come to the office in person for pass registration. Saturdays are short office hours so must arrive no later than 11am please. Plan your arrival accordingly.

Golf fees are not included although golfing is available to guests. Casa de Katalina is two miles from the golf course where golf carts can be rented.

We offer an escape from your busy world to a surrounding of peace and quiet for a unique Mexico desert stay.

This Casita is cozy, fits 2 adults. It's a great place for a couple to get away and have close time together or a quiet space for an individual to R&R. You won't want to leave and you will probably want to come back! Please note: Casita does NOT sleep 3. There is an error in the listing, only 2 people can be accommodated on one reservation and you must be over 30 years old.

The property is smoke free. NO FUMAR. and if this rule is not respected, you will be asked to leave.

The owner does speak Spanish and graciously invites Spanish speaking individuals from other designations in Mexico or USA or anywhere in the world.

PLEASE NOTE. Casa de Katalina is 12 miles North of the Malecon. Owner would like to emphasize, if you are looking for a party house or a place on the beach, this is not it. We are located in the heart of the desert, a mile west of I-5 from the first guard station, Paseo del Sol, 12 miles to the Malecon and 2 miles to EDR's private beach. It's quiet out here, although you might hear an occasional coyote howl. That's what guests have come to love about staying in the Casita. We're in the desert!
