Although the hotel advertises transportation from SF Airport this is not completely true. They discontinue service several hours during the day which meant that I had to hire an uber for $25 for a 10 minute ride. The front desk staff are not friendly or helpful. I would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent breakfast, rooms are fine for the amount you paid. Staff are courteous and very helpful. Even though check in time says 3 pm if rooms available provided at 12:15 pm. Shared shuttle but works. Over all I liked this hotel for my 2 days stay with reasonable price.

Rooms were basic and clean. My room had a mini split unit for heating and cooling. Surprising to see an Ethernet cable in the room but I didn't try it because the room had wifi 6. Breakfast was fine with a variety of hot food (bacon scrambled eggs), waffle station, toaster, yogurt, canned fruit (peaches), fresh options limited to oranges and bananas. I would personally budget in more time for the hotel shuttle. The shuttle is NOT available 24/7 and it serves multiple hotels along the same road in addition to the Bay Landing Hotel. The shuttle runs every 45 minutes starting with hotel lobby pickup at 4:12am and ends at 11:42am. It takes a break mid-day and resumes pickup at 3:02pm and runs every 45 minutes until 10:32pm From SFO arrivals to the hotel I waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday night for pickup (wait at the Hotel Shuttles island at each terminal's Arrivals stage) From the hotel lobby on a Monday morning, the shuttle did not arrive at the scheduled 8:42am time, it arrived 12 minutes late at 8:54am, but took only 12 minutes to drive to SFO terminal 1. The shuttle stops at each terminal and make sure to tell the driver what terminal and airline you need

clean room. Bed was firm. Would have liked an option for a topper to make it softer. I think all hotels should not only have rooms with different bed sizes such as queen, king but also have options of firm, medium or soft. Or offer a topper to alter the firmness.

We had a room with a view of the bay which we appreciated. Staff was courteous and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and fresh smelling. Breakfast offered a nice selection of items.

I initially booked Bay Landing because the airport shuttle was a convenient perk, but we loved the charm of the property and the kindness of the staff. Would definitely recommend.

The breakfast was a big plus for us. They offered Omelets, eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, juice. They kept it fully stocked and clean at all times during breakfast period 6am-10am. They also had a gym which was nice to have. (did not see no one use it during out stay) lol We liked that we were right next to the ocean and there was a walking path along side of it that was right in front of the hotel. The parking was free and we had out car right in front of our window. The room was a little outdated. I wish the door had a bottom cover to block air coming in. There was a big gap. Since we were on the first floor we did get the aromas from the breakfast (waffle) through our ventilation which became very apparent at some point in the morning. Overall, we had a good experience. We were able to check out at 12pm which was nice because we took our time to leave and not rush out of our room.

Breakfast needs more options! Shuttles should be available for all flights with your passengers!! We had to wait over an hour for the shuttle once we landed!! Not a good start of a vacation! Television needs attention, ours kept saying no signal on most channels!! I spoke with the front desk but no one came to check it! Most hotels offer apps!! We were on our Honeymoon and wanted to lay in and watch television, but couldn’t enjoy that! Also, this hotel is pretty far off from most tourists attractions so I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists! Uber/ Lyft cost is a pretty penny!
