Although the hotel advertises transportation from SF Airport this is not completely true. They discontinue service several hours during the day which meant that I had to hire an uber for $25 for a 10 minute ride. The front desk staff are not friendly or helpful. I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located near the SFO airport with convenient shuttle service through the day and most of the night. There’s a nice walking area nearby. Hotel rates are reasonably priced.

We had a great stay here for a couple of nights. The front desk staff was extremely helpful! And, all service was provided with a smile. We walked next door for dinner one evening, and we had our breakfast out on the patio while watching the water. Its a great location if you need the airport, too!

I called at 11:47 AM to ask if there was still a shuttle coming to Terminal 3, knowing there’s usually a 12 PM–3 PM break. The person I spoke with said yes, so I waited. When I called again at 12:14 PM, I was told there were no more shuttles and to just take an Uber. I was very upset — I could’ve taken the Uber earlier and saved time. Thankfully, when I arrived, they allowed me to check in early. However, once I got to my room, the bathroom was stinky and the floor was soaking wet (I found out the hard way because I was barefoot). Someone came, sprayed air freshener, and placed a towel on the floor. They offered to move me to another room, but I was too tired, so I just stayed put. The worst experience was with my DoorDash delivery. The rider left my order on the lobby table, and while I was on my way down to get it, the front desk staff (who didn’t even smile — not sure why he’s in this job) said he threw my items away! I told him he didn’t even wait five minutes. Thankfully, my order was still there — and it was just sanitary pads, so it was fine even if he got it from the trash bin. Still, please remind staff not to discard guests’ items and to let riders or customers handle their own deliveries. The only highlight of my stay was at checkout — Chris was so warm and friendly, the complete opposite of the others. My housekeeper was also nice, though I didn’t catch her name. That’s my two cents from this stay

Good choice for a lay-over

We had a comfortable stay at the Bay Landing. The shuttle (shared with 2 other hotels) was efficient. The room was dated but very clean. There was minimal noise coming in from the nearby airport. We could not figure out the high-tech thermostat, but that was not a major problem. We liked the buffet—more options than many moderately priced hotels, and the dining area was kept clean. Wouldn’t be our choice for a long stay, but it was perfect for a flight arriving in the late evening and good start to the morning.

This hotel is great! Much better than expected. The rooms are large; the bathroom is spacious and contains a shower and a tub. There is a coffee station, a microwave, and a mini frig. The closet is big and it contains an iron and ironing board unlike newer hotels. The bed is comfortable. Extra blankets are provided. The room is set up for comfortable longer stays if needed with a desk, dresser, comfy big chair and plenty of light. The breakfast is quite good with all the basics like eggs, cereals, bagels, toast, and waffles. There is a fruit bar and a selection of juices. The staff keeps everything organized, replenished and clean. The only negative is the shuttle. The wait at the airport was long and the morning pick up was crowded and also late. The shuttle serves several hotels. If you are driving, there is free parking.

We really loved this hotel. Yes is it a little bit older and could use a coat of paint but overall it was wonderful. Great location, wonderful waterfront promenade to walk on and convenient everything we wanted to do in San Francisco
