A little older than other places so pricing seemed too high. Parking was outside and they charged $24/day and I self-parked. The lady told me I had complimentary parking yet when I got my bill they sure did charge me. So what was the point of giving me a complimentary pass if you’re still gonna charge?? There was this tiny parking lot outside, with no type of security, and you’re gonna charge me that much? That’s ridiculous!!!

So what happened to this hotel? Born and bred in San Carlos I remember when this hotel was just built and boy was it stunning, well not anymore. Had to come down to the peninsula for some doctor’s appointments and thought I would try the Crown Plaza SF airport. The price was right, they allow dogs that’s about all that was right about this place. There is a park next to the hotel where you can potty your dog but you have to crawl through the fence to get there…. To start the outside is so run down. The landscaping is dead and the rugs inside so worn. Lobby front desk is really shabby too. Pictures on website are not true to reality. The staff at the front desk are not welcoming at all. Parking is questionable as you can see where there have been smash and grabs with window glass still left in the parking lot. DO NOT LEAVE anything in your car. $24 a day to park, to get broken into…. Um yeah NO. Had to have the maintenance guy up 4 times in 2 days to open door to room as keys stopped working (what and absolute pain in the neck) Bed was completely comfortable and room was dated but clean. Air conditioning worked so that was a bright side to this story. Would I do it again…… Nope too gehto for me should have gone with my gut and stayed at the Hyatt, they allow dogs too. If you’re on a budget then this is your place but if your use to

Our stay would have been very good, except there was a strong odor of marijuana in the hallway. The smell came into the room from under the door. We had to place towels down in order to keep the smell out. The staff was kind enough to remove the parking charges and pet fee. However, it made for an unpleasant stay. Seems there isn't enough staff to enforce the no smoking policy. according to the manager.
