Great, clean hotel. Rooms are well kept and updated. Outside fireplaces are great spot to relax. If you have the option of free breakfast, it is phenomenal! A huge array of options and a great way to start the day! Location is great if you want to stay at the Wharf, it is one block from Pier 39. Parking is available on the street at a cheaper rate.

Rooms were ok. Bathroom was awful. Small and the toilet didn’t flush properly. Breakfast was of. A little better than a Holiday Inn express. Could use an omlet station instead of just scrambled eggs. They charge a “resort fee”. They are not a resort and it’s a fee that you are not even aware of until you check in. For that you get use of the pool, gym and a bottle of water. Basically, the pool etc should be included, so it’s a $50 bottle of water. I hope you enjoy it. Best part of the hotel was the convenience and the bar tended. Great guy. I will not be staying there again.

There is nothing unique about this property. It's crowded, noisy; the breakfast area is crazy with guests. Our shower was broken. We supposedly got a room upgrade but it was exactly the room I paid for. Overall, it was nothing special and we will go back to staying at Marriott or Hilton properties.

The hotel could easily be acceptable if it wasn’t for petty restrictions and the fact that it charges 4 star prices for 2 star amenities. Sadly you could get the same experience for $80 per night elsewhere without the rude staff and lack of empathy. I stay in around 75 hotels per annum for work and leisure but have to congratulate Riu on this years worst rating to date
