this hotel is near the edge of the populated area. Restaurant next door, but staff did not recommend. Easy to find. Staff were friendly, but not particularly helpful. The hotel appeared to be between 1/3 and half full. There are ground floor rooms with outside access doors and a place to park. You check in at one end, then walk a hall to a center entry which they were not using and then we were the last room at the end of the second section. The first hallway was nice, when we entered the second hall- our room was at the end, only every 3rd light was on, it felt very creepy. Maybe they put us there so it wouldn't be noisy, but `i got the impression that the favored guests got rooms near, and Hotels.com guests got what was left. The bed was hard as a rock, pillows very flat, the room amenities were 2 plastic cups and two sample packs of shampoo. Toilet paper were those tiny sheets that you pull out from a dispenser one at a time. ick. thin and scratchy. Bring your own. The place was very clean, but very outdated and about 20 Euros more than we paid for the Moxy near Malpensa which is a great place to stay. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation, she gave only one and it was very pricy. We just wanted a decent meal. We found a great neighborhood place on our own which was frequented by locals and very good. The nicer hotels in Pavia are expensive and terrible parking. Do a day trip and stay elsewhere.
