Booked a room with 2 double beds, instead got 2 single beds put together. When I went to the front desk to ask them why I don't have 2 double beds, they told me they were sold out; this isn't exactly great but okay, I asked them to separate the 2 single beds and they basically didn't understand. I had to explain to the people in room service what to do, and then they STILL didn't get it right, and one of the peolpe in my booking had to sleep on a rollout bed even though we both paid for doubles. Absolute joke.

Loved this hotel when it was the Fairmont. Beautiful building and updated features. Front desk staff was not helpful at all, and rude. Check in time was delayed, we reserved 2queens and ended with 2 doubles. Mattress were old and had a pit in the middle. Parking valet were very nice and informative.

Looks like a nice property but our stay was not great. Spacious room and bath, but no hot water in the shower and the toilet made the loudest noise when flushed. In addition, the pipes made loud whistling noises In the middle of the night. Not great when you’re trying to get a good nights rest. Shared feedback with the front desk and had no apology. Room 328 needs to have maintenance. Plus side: Bar was nice and bartender made a great espresso martini.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are decent, unfortunately the service isn’t great. The receptionist (a women mid 40’s with a tattooed right sleeve) was so rude to me while asking for a replacement room key. Her attitude not only to me but the clients ahead of me was really unnecessary. When you travel for work and are received with such a poor, attitude - it really makes me rethink where I spend my company’s money. Definitely not this hotel….. there are options. Find better personnel.

From the moment we checked in it was issue after issue.The thermostat was not working, our room phone was not working, our bathroom sink was not draining, there was no key or security for the gate to the pool from our room, firepit would not go out and was difficult to start, THEN the workers started to strike, they approached my child when we were coming back to the hotel, the airhorn and fake sirens were heard in our room from the street and my child who has special needs was stressed and scared, then no housekeeping, trash cans full at the pool area and trash was like tumbleweeds blowing through the pool area, no in-room service, no customer service: noone to help with checkout and bringing bags to my car, when I had to go get a lugglage cart, they locked my door and had to wait over 20minutes outside my room with my child for them to open my door to get my luggage, they didn't scan my car properly when I valeted. Front desk was not knowledgeable. I need a huge refund. Not a credit, or a coupon. I need a HUGE refund.

Unfortunately Expedia did not notify us that they were on strike. Workers gathered in front of hotel being super noisy until very late into the night and very early the next morning. No cleaning service daily. Restaurants limited. Also, some staff members were quite rude when asked questions. And something outside our room made a loud noise all night long every hour on the hour. With that and the strikers we got no sleep during our stay. Very disappointing.
