I love the unique old classic look that it has . It makes you feel at home and more personal space than a regular hotel. I didnt get to try the jacuzzi but it look amazing and cozy . It was a really good vibe !

Neither Expedia nor Acacia honored the cancellation charge of one (1) evening 13June as my son and I traveled to El Yunque instead of staying at Acacia. I had called well in advance of the several deadline (and before midnight). Also, the room provided by Acacia on 12June was not an ocean view as I had requested and booked from Expedia. Upon discussing with the front-desk personnel, it was stated that Expedia determines which rooms are ocean and the room they provided me on 12June had been "approved" by Expedia. I spent several hours chatting with Expedia via Expedia's chat feature and nothing was resolved. To-date, I still have neither received a refund for the 13June non-stay nor money back for the non-ocean view room. Highly disappointed in both Expedia and Acacia. I will most likely not use Expedia now for my next trip of Camino de Santiago.

This is a very unique property and is like living it the past. Really like the wrap around balcony on unit 302 which has partial views of the beach. Room/bed comfortable

The price was good on Expedía $130 with tax and everything.Good walk really easy to the beach like 2 min. Very cool balcony. Place for dinner by walking near by. Hot little pool, the cold one is in the corner of the street, they have like 3 hotels near from this. Bad, is no parking, air conditioning is not cold enough.

Description said ocean view. Def not that. Said soundproof rooms. Was so noisy we didn’t get a full nights rest. A c didn’t work. We asked politely to refund the prepaid days. Took them 3 days to reply. No apology no offer to fix situation. Feel like we were completely lied to and got taken advantage of. Not at all as described . We worked so hard for this vacation and the hotel was far from restful. It was a nightmare

The concierge was not the most hospitable. When we arrived to the room it was extremly hot. The bathroom was like a sauna, not very clean and did not have any towels. When we went to the front to get towels, there were no wash cloths either. Luckily there were pharmacies nearby. We had to purchase our own wash cloths and cleaning supplies in order to do a full cleaning in the bathroom. The location was convenient to everything and very close to the beach. The restaurant onsite is very small, reservations only and expensive. We never actually ate in the restaurant. Rather, we called to order and picked up the food to eat in our room (breakfast only). You are better off walking 6 minutes down the road and trying the many dining options. I would stay in this area again but not this particular hotel.

I booked this hotel on the same day of my flight only to be told the flight was canceled due Microsoft outage at airport. I attempted to cancel explaning the circumstances to Expedia and the hotel with out consideration refused to provide a refund. I posted the information to my YouTube Channel in full detail as to why to avoid booking through Expedia and book directly yourself to avoid such barbaric customer service. Lastly why to avoid such hotel and lack of customer service location.

Room service was horrible had to basically beg them to clean the room and her clean towels which we never received when we got there wfi sucks wasn't able to enjoy any thing on the tv because it was always searching for network but on the upside it was very close too the beach lest than 5 mins walk and had a pool outside my door
