This is a clean and convenient hotel with comfortable beds. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day. It’s a 2 block walk to the beach and the neighborhood feels safe for walking. There were lots of loud noises during the night (maybe doors or windows slamming? It was quite windy), so I wouldn’t recommend room 26 for a quiet night. Maybe ask which rooms are quiet.

Nice budget friendly hotel. If you end up renting a car beware there is not much parking around the area. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and stores all within walking distance. Also beach access within 2 blocks from hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying there.

Better places exist
This is a place if you MUST stay in Condado but can’t pay the $600/night resort prices. But wow, the difference is really stark. The check-in was ridiculous. They send you a message at booking that says to download the August app. If you’re like me and book way in advance, it’s easy to forget which we did. We had just driven over an hour in the pouring rain to only be confused because the message sent said they had switched to keyless entry. I go up to the front door and there actually is someone there to let us in. The door to the hotel is not locked at all. And she was OBVIOUSLY sick, which is just so kind of the hotel to have a sick person work three days before Christmas infecting everyone she comes in contact with. Then, they actually WERE still on a keyed system. The room only had one rusted deadbolt and a rickety door and key that you had to slam to get to shut. When we got into the room, the AC barely worked, there were hairs on the towels, and the shower took like 5 minutes for hot water. Stay in Viejo San Juan.

I wanted to give it 5 stars but did not because of the limited breakfast options offered of toast and coffee. Apart from that, the hotel is only 3 floor high but kept clean. Your room will have a fan and an AC to stay cool in. You can also expect your room to be cleaned daily with fresh towels placed in the bathroom. The maids always leave a nice personalized note to inform you when they cleaned the room. There is also a pool which is only 4 feet deep and clean. In terms of location, the hotel is a block away from a Walgreens store and restaurants are plenty in the area. You are also not too far from old San Juan if you want to visit it like I did. Overall, I highly recommed this small hotel. It is a nice alternative to the more expensive options in the area and well situated as well. The area is quiet and clean and the staff is respectful and friendly. However, parking can be difficult to find in the area if you decide to bring a vehicle.

The rooms were okay, towels felt like sandpaper and soap dispensers were hard to pump. Breakfast minimal and the coffee was terrible. Would not stay there again!!! Not worth the price charged for a nights stay.
