Good stay in San Juan.
A Decently remodeled property. Pool and bar area is always bustling with hotel guests. The bar has a really good drink list. The fresh market was bit lacking. The fresh baked goods were stale. Rooms were big and spacious. The smell of mold was a bit off putting for the first two days. Lots extra added fees at check in. Prime location but this area doesn’t have any real beaches.

Very clean and modern. Staff excellent and very knowledgeable of the area and restaurants. Two things I would advise, extend pool hours to at least 10pm and add a microwave to the rooms. Lastly, the partner hotel across the street isn't no where as nice as the hotel where we stayed. Looks run down and instead of promoting that hotel as a partner I see no benefit other than the beach access & beach chair & umbrella amenities. Thank you for our stay and we certainly will be back!! I got a message that my booking was cancelled by the property and I should not show up. My travel partner tried to check in before the main guest arrival and was racially discriminated against. When they tried to speak for their right they were put out of the property. The incompetence of the checking staff and manager on duty was flat out disgraceful for a brand such as Hilton. The price point does not match the level of service one would expect from Hilton.

Our rooms were not ready until after 6ish, towels had hairs, went to țhe front desk to ask for new ones and I was told they would bring them, waited until the following day and ended up picking them up myself. No body helped us with our bags, everyone had a attitude. Stayed at many Hiltons and never had this kind of experience.

The lock in our hotel room did not work. We asked front desk to fix it or move us to a different room everyday of our stay and kept getting the run around. They kept saying “engineering” will check it out and if it couldn’t be fixed, they would transfer us to a different room. That never happened . Once we walked into our bathroom upon check-in, we found a really big hair ball. So we checked the room, there was a thick layer of dust on every piece of furniture and when house keeping would come in, they would one re-do our bed. We had to ask for new towels and to sweep and mop. The floor would get sandy from the beach since we did go to PR for a vacation. Would not recommend. The servers by the pool were good and very nice but not super attentive.
