This hotels needs maintenance and renovation. The central a/c unit has mold and pumps contaminated air through the ducts so the hotel smells like a high school foot locker. It was so bad my gf and I left 1 day in and got an Airbnb. Also, they have a $200 deposit and $40 a day they charge for food and beverage which you don't get back. Parking is $20 a day. We wasted $1000 on this hotel since we couldn't get a refund. STAY AWAY!!

Pros: 1. The room includes a kitchen with appliances, plates, cups and cookware and a dining table. 2. The complementary breakfast menu was vast and good. 3. The staff was friendly and courteous. Cons: There are some safety issues in the bathroom: 1. The shower has no safety bars and the floor was a little slippery. 2. The shower entrance has half glass wall and the other half open. This results in water sprinkling outside the shower area, which could result in an accident. This also results in water damage on the door, which was evident. Also, there is a need to update some lamps that show aging signs and the upholstery of the furniture shows stains that require steam cleaning. I expected more when the cost per night was almost three hundred dollars.

A 3 star hotel worth visiting. Just a few cons- Some of the upgrades needed:showers have NO bath ventilation. Toilet paper gets soggy and items in the bathroom from all the condensation. Even my medicine (kept in a hard plastic container in the dry dark bathroom cabinet) still became soggy & crumbled. Rust/leak in the bathroom wall. Stained couch and smelly couch pillows. Faucet leaked much water on the counter. Lampshade & carpet had dirt patterns. Suggest replacing carpeting to durable flooring and the couches with a more durable material. The light grey shows everything-Steam clean them. Wipe out drawers after the guest checks out. Mine had some sand in them so I didnt use. Replace couch in the laundry room-disgusting & broken! Observed staff cleaning & dusting throughout the day. Friendly staff. Concierge service found just what we were looking for.-Thanks Sarah! Good food from the kitchen! Daily meal credit, gym room free beach chairs, a definite plus! Nice pools and lounge areas. 1st floor bathrooms kept clean. Good location. Tasty & free breakfast options. Spacious rooms with kitchens(if needed) Check your bill before leaving. All in all, I'd give 3 starts.

During my stay the housekeeping staff only cleaned our room the first day of our stay. The next day they we already arrived and it was late so we asked for towels only but we did not decline the service, it was just too late to get our room cleaned. The following day they did not clean the room again! I went to the front desk to complain and the staff put his hands up saying well housekeeping said you declined not even giving an apology for the inconvenience. The manager then said they would give me $100 per day as a comp but in my final bill it was $150. The sheets/bedding were rough and stiff, not comfortable at all. There was a big red stain on the carpet and lampshades were stained. The sofa also had what appeared as water stains and looked dirty. The pool was cloudy and dirty so I only went in once and got right out because it was so cloudy. My son enjoyed the waterslide in the kid area of the pool. There were only two machines to wash clothes for the whole hotel with hundreds of guests and then one of the dyers broke. Overall it was an awful experience.

Horrible smell
The room was clean, and had ample space. My only complaint was the room reached of a very strong urine smell the hallway leading up to our room was the same. The next morning I requested an air freshener or a different room. Try to get me to move to another room, but the view was different and the smell was just as bad, they sent my husband a can of Lysol which I can’t stand the smell of Lysol and it would’ve just made it worse. By the third day, my nose felt like it was on fire from how strong the smell was. I don’t know where it was coming from but it was very distracting and also made it very uncomfortable for me during my stay. Due to the fact that it would take too long to get a refund and too much trouble to try to move to a different area we opted to stay. But we’re extremely disappointed with how much we paid And what we ended up having to put up with.

PROS: Check-in went smoothly. Front desk staff were pleasant. Our room was promptly changed due to a strong mildew odor. However, both rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was clean overall. There was a free daily buffet breakfast and a $40 daily credit for Soga Restaurant, which was unexpected but great to have. CONS: Housekeeping was not at all responsive. They never answered any calls, so we always had to call the front desk. We waited for a couple hours one day to receive a working iron that still didn’t work. We had to buy our own. On another day, we, via the front desk, requested to have the room refreshed (towels, toilet paper, trash takeout). We left a tip and went out for several hours only to return to the room in the same condition and the tip where we left it. It took a total 6 hours before housekeeping showed up, and that was after I encountered a housekeeper on our floor and told her what we needed. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was free and available. Soga Restaurant was good, but they were often out of something we wanted and they were slow. They would bring out the food trays and place them on the back bar, never telling customers their orders were ready. It wasn’t unusual for food to be sitting for 10-20 minutes before they realized it. The food was tasty but would need reheating. Overall, nice hotel and staff, but the services are poor. I wouldn’t recommend unless the latter improves greatly.
