Not too shabby
We decided to stay at the Ascot suites because it was renovated within the last year. Our first time staying here was a pretty good experience. Friendly staff, nice size upgraded room and bathroom. And the rooftop having a lounge area was a huge bonus. Beautiful views and comfortable seating with a fire pit for chilly nights. It’s also walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Had an absolutely beautiful stay. I was a little apprehensive when I booked it, because I generally stay at chain hotels, but this one was awesome! I would not hesitate to stay here again, and the everyone on the staff was very attentive, friendly, and nice. There was a nice continental breakfast each morning. The location was great and close to the restaurants and shopping, all within a short walking distance. If you get to Morro Bay, check this place out.

Paid for a Suite that we didnt stay in
My husband and i come to the area very often for deep sea fishing trips. We booked a suite with the jacuzzi tub. The water wouldn't turn off after taking a shower so we could get into the jacuzzi tub. We called front desk to send maintenance. A woman came and said she was maintenance and that the original maintenance person was off for the weekend. She came with the wrong tools and was not able to get the water to stop(my husband is actually a plumber and let her know those tools would not fix the problem). The water ran for awhile while we waited for maintenance. We ended up having to move rooms. There were no more suites available for our weekend stay. We asked to speak with the manager to be compensated since we did pay for a suite for the weekend but he/she was off that weekend, but they would have the manager contact us. We still have not spoken to anyone. We were looking forward to soaking in the jacuzzi after a long day of deep sea fishing!
