I loved that they had cookies upon arrival. That was nice. However, there was no early check-in as I am used to, but that’s OK Because I guess that means they were busy. We were able to drive around a bit. The breakfast in the morning was decent. However, the refrigerator in the room kept making noise at night because it wasn’t leveled. Overall, we would stay there again.

This was my best all time choice of a hotel. It was spotless, quiet, the people were so helpful and friendly. The exterior was beautiful. This was better than a brand new hotel. We loved it. We will be back.

Nice but next to highway
A clean and totally fine place. Nice people that work there. The view of mountains has a busy highway in front of it, and the highway is close and noisy. Slightly deceiving photos by the hotel.

Very well kept older hotel. The staff was very friendly, and gave some amazing options for dinner downtown. Just small issues, but wouldnt deter our stay. The bathroom sliding door lock was broke, and wouldnt stay closed. Had tonwedge a washcloth in it to keep it closed. The ac unit definitely needs an update. When i finally got it to come on, it worked good. Breakfast was good, a small variety of options. Overall, for the price, im happy with the stay.

The room had everything you need and was clean. The location is good, near the downtown San Luis Obispo, but also right on top of the freeway. The room was a little small and my room was across from the elevator and ice machine, so it was noisy. The pool is very small. The hotel and staff are nice, but the space is a little small in the lobby, the breakfast room and my room...

we were booked into a room that hadn’t been serviced yet, still had the scrambled eggs breakfast on the desk. when we went down to get another room without apology or regret, the second room had a huge crack in the bathroom mirror. when i asked the front desk to note it in my records, he just ignored me and when i asked him why, he just mumbled i’m really busy after he said he had. third try was a charm, but breakfast the next morning was not sufficient to feed the people. no eggs.

Martha and front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was busy and a lot for the one staff member working it (they need to replace the really slow pancake maker with something quicker). Corridor carpets were extremely dirty, guest room was ok.
