Great Hotel.
The hotel and the staff were wonderful! They were ready to help you 24 hors a day. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was very comfortable except for the very firm mattresses. We enjoyed our stay.

I can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone went over and above to accommodate us. They were friendly and very helpful with an questions and too exceptional care of us. I would definitely stay there again. Great location and close to everything.

The location was very good, with about a 5 minute walk to St Mark’s Square. Our room overlooked the canal with gondolas going by, sometimes with fantastic singers! The front desk staff were very nice and arranged some transportation for us. The downside was the bed in the second bedroom- it was horrible! It was a fold-out couch that had broken arms and completely broken down in the middle of frame. It looked like it was 20 years old and was really uncomfortable for our adult son. The bedding had just 1 ratty, rough blanket for each bed. The other downside was a massive sewage leak on the main floor by the dining room. The sewage smell was unbearable, do we left for the day. The staff never talked to us about it or told us what was happening. We thought we would have to change hotels, but it was resolved by that evening. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at for our 3-wk trip, and we expected better amenities, and especially a decent bed and plumbing.

You cannot do better for Prime location in the middle of Venice near the Rialto and so easy to connect to water taxis and Saint Mark Square.

Our room with the canal view was wonderful! It was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The downside is a very hard mattress and flat pillows. The staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast buffet was outstanding!

We had a superior room, overlooking a smaller canal with dual aspect and 4 opening windows affording amazing views. There is a lift, a very helpful and friendly staff as well as a varied choice of breakfast. Very effective air conditioning, although it was much nicer to have sun and a nice breeze flowing through the windows most of the time as, in early September, it was not too hot for us and still sunny. Nice to have the choice. Location is great, being near many of the major features of the area and only a couple of minutes from where public and private boats can reach. We loved Venice and we enjoyed every minute of our 5 night stay at this hotel.

Beautiful and updated lobby with lobby bar. Staff is exceptional, friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They located a hairstylist within walking distance, and made extra effort to book me an appointment, and personally walk me to the salon. I was there to get married and the hotel surprised us with flutes, a congratulations card and a complementary bottle of champagne in our room. We also received a dining voucher to eat at their associated restaurant and free limoncello shots. Room was clean & spacious. Minutes away to walk to St Marks Square. Highly recommend staying at Bella Venezia.

The people at the hotel are fantastic, super friendly. We had a reservation for a suite for 3 people and apparently there was a situation and they put us in two bedrooms. The service allowed us to leave our luggage for a longer time after checking out. One of the bedrooms does not look very good, the two tables by the bed were different, one square and one round, the closet and the bathroom look very worn. The bed was comfortable.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. So close to the Rialto Bridge maybe 2 mins walk, and also the water taxis, which meant that we could easily get to the train station when we left the hotel will 3 cases. Breakfast was good, and staff very helpful (great coffee). Highly recommend and we will be back as this was our first trip to Venice. Loved every minute and we would only book here. Thanks for a great trip

Probably mostly my own fault as I had to change dates so my room charge went up massively. With train and water taxi strikes I left a day early which effects cost my a night as there was no way I was going to get it back from the hotel. The breakfast was ok but not as good as others I had in Italy. I had to point out the the hotel that they say they do laundry …they do not.
