About this space
It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one-of-a-kind. The Drawing Room is an eloquently designed stay that stretches along the length of the Downtown Abbey. The farmhouse style kitchenette, mid-century oversized windows and natural light emphasize the simple beauty of this old-world building. This beautiful space is a very short distance from some of the best attractions the town has to offer.
The space
The entrance to the Drawing Room is on the left (west side) of the Abbey if you are facing it. The Abbey is a 120 year old church building that was formerly divided into three separate, private spaces. The Drawing Room was an addition to the church, built in the early 1950’s and most recently used as an architect’s quarters. The home shares two walls and two non-opening doors with another rental suite but you have the entire listing to yourself
Guest access
All of the spaces within the unit are private and available for use exclusively by the tenants.
You will have complete access to the entire space of The Drawing Room.
Other things to note
The Abbey is a 120 year old church building that has been converted into a tri-plex over the years. There are many quirks to a building this old! There are two shared walls within the unit. The farmhouse kitchen is equipped but please note we offer a Ninja tabletop air fryer for oven usage (it can roast an entire chicken!) and the stove top is a countertop double cast iron burner as pictured.
There are absolutely NO PARTIES allowed. Since the building is divided into a tri-plex, out of respect for our other guests, we do not allow parties. Quiet hours are between 10PM-8AM. If you have a larger group, please inquire directly about renting the entire busking out.
