A lot to like
We really enjoyed our stay, the owners responded to our requests promptly. We had family join us for a few days, who also enjoyed the villa, especially the pool. The villa suited our needs, especially proximity of golf club. One or two suggestions though. Could do with some shade, either awning or umberellas as the patio has sun all day. Kitchen equipment could do with updating.

Overall happy with the property. The WiFi was down all week which caused us to be unable to work which was a problem. Taxis are in extremely short supply so a car is recommended. Our taxi back to the airport was over an hour late and we nearly missed our flight.

Villa in Amarilla Golf
We stayed in this villa from 6 February to 19th March 2024 with family visiting us throughout our stay. The villa itself is spacious and well equipped with spectacular views over the golf course to the sea. It is situated in a very quiet area. A car is essential, especially if you are infirm or have small children as, apart from one small shop and the Golf Club (which stops serving food at 6.00 pm) it is about 20 mins walk away from the shops, pubs, restaurants and the seafront. The bus stop is about ten minutes walk away and taxis are easily available.. We were there six weeks and Jonny, acting as the owner's agent, was very responsive to any needs that we had. We were informed that the £100 that we had paid for cleaning was for it to be cleaned for our arrival and again when we left. Any other cleaning would be fifteen euros an hour. Needless to say, we did the cleaning ourselves during our stay. We were supplied with ample bed linen and towels. Again, we laundered these ourselves as there was a charge otherwise. We enjoyed our stay at the villa on the whole, but two warnings: Watch out for flying golf balls and parents with small children please note that the shallow end of the swimming pool is about 4' 6" deep.

A week over christmas 2022
A good house for a family of 4. Nice outside space with view over golf course. though terrace is a bit shabby and its directly under the flight path for v busy airport. . The house is spacious..a little tired but fine for a week. Very safe and quiet neighbourhood. good communication with host. Decent little supermarket a short walk away. Bigger supermarkets a drive away. We were surprised to be repeatedly held up in traffic which was Very busy and slow. The golf course and resort are smart though still under construction down at the coast. We were on a hiking holiday and found numerous beautiful varied hikes within an hours drive.

Happy Holiday
Large Villa although needs updating both inside and out . Pool area has broken tiles which is a fall’s hazard for all age groups . Pool steps do not go far enough into the pool making it difficult to get out. Well situated with view of golf course and sea in the distance.A car is essential unless happy to stay at the Villa or use taxis. We all enjoyed our stay again as we have been before and it is convenient for our needs.

Nice central location
House was as advertised clean and roomy although I find that the master bedroom should have a queen or king size bed for couples (all rooms have only single beds). The view from the rear patio is beautiful other than the occasional golfers walking around. The caretaker of the property (Johnny) was always reachable and very helpful when needed. A fifteen to twenty minute walk and you are at the ocean side we’re you will find a variety of bars and restaurants. All in all a good investment for a good stay!

Had an amazing time big living dining area brilliant pool and lots of garden area, good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms 1 was ensuite, downside no aircon was so hot inside and too noisy to leave the shutters open on a night, patio area needs replacing my children caught their toes on some uneven areas, and the master bedroom was single beds this should be changed to a double in my opinion, apart from that a very pleasant stay, lovely neighbours too 😀

Nice villa if a little dated in places. Lovely view from the terrace.. One thing to watch out for is mosqitoes as there's a pond quite nearby on the golf course plus they must use manure or something smelly on the grace and plants as it was pretty whiffy at times. Do request the pool to be heated well in advance as it wasn't very warm the whole time we were there. Marie the owner is very helpful though. enjoy!!

Not very clean
When we arrived we had to clean patio as it was very dirty there was only 3 sun beds for 6 people around the pool it was supposed to have heated pool we were told we would have to pay an extra charge for that which wasn’t stated on the advertising of the villa. The bbq took 2 hours to clean and then it still wasn’t up to standard so we bought foil trays to cook our food on 2 of the single beds they had a double quilt folded in half to make single ones so it was vert hot if you used them there wasn’t enough pegs to hang washing so we had to buy more every morning we couldn’t sit on the patio for breakfast as the patio had been pulled up at sometime and you would get a very strong smell off the drains overall a very bad experience we won’t be booking it again

We stayed for 1 week. Overall great value. Very quiet area, San Blas is 5mins away in a taxi costing €6 which has a hiperdino supermarket and many quiet restaurants/pubs suitable for yound children. The villa is clean and tidy. Pool is more than adequate for the size of the villa. More English channels on TV would be good though. Excellent views of the golf course and the sea. Cant fault it for the price we paid.

Wonderful stay! Everything we needed!
Villa was fabulous and I had great communication from the owner in the run up to our visit and brilliant assistance from the staff whilst we were there, of which we didn't need much, just a few small things but they couldn't have been quicker or more helpful! The villa is light and spacious and fully opens to the rear facing the pool and the golf course view if you so like. The pool isn't huge but my 3 small children found it plenty big enough... although there isn't really a shallow end. Well equipped kitchen, they even had mozzi plugs which was great as I hadn't taken any ... not that we saw more than a couple. I prefer to eat out in Costa Adeje than in the area around the golf courses as there is much more choice and of a better quality but that could just be personal preference. We stayed in a few evenings and had BBQ. There is a great Mercadona about 5 mins away in the car which has EVERYTHING! And a small supermarket 2 mins walk away that has essentials and a little more. For both of these reasons I would say a car is essential due to the location. We stayed for one week and had a hire car the whole time. The flight path didn't bother us in the slightest in fact the kids loved it! We had stayed in the area before though so knew about the noise etc. It's not luxury but you're not paying luxury prices... I think we got more than value for money! Would recommend!
