Peaceful experience
Would totally recommend staying in the silo. Quiet and clean. Easy drive to town. And wildlife at twilight! Saw our first owl in the wild!

Silo was just as described. Very clean, easy to find and only took us about 15 min to ge to downtown Paso for eating, shopping and wine tasting. It was a hot weekend (100°+) and the a/c unit kept the place very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Future Visit For Sure!
The Silo was the perfect place for our recent trip. It was quiet and isolated which is what we wanted. The Silo is beautifully done, all the amenities we needed for two people. Very clean and decorated beautifully we were impressed by the size & roominess of the space. It also stayed cool during a very hot weekend. Waking, making coffee and sitting on the deck was wonderful - the pistachio orchards are serine and the local wildlife abundant. The location was great for Paso Robles and the Central Coast. We ventured to Santa Cruz & the redwoods within 2.5 hours, Hearst Castle & Cambria within one hour and Paso Robles was just a quick 10 minute drive down HWY 101. Our host was fantastic, we arrive late in the evening but met him the next morning - very pleasant and friendly. We saw them again the morning we left as they were going to check on their land. Wished us well and thanked us for staying. Far enough away to see the stars yet close to Central for day trips, I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all. If you do stay, take in Sensorio in Paso Robles for a magical and unique evening.

What a FIND! The interior is updated like the finest of tiny homes. Relaxing and within easy driving distance of several wedding venues and wineries, this ranch has its own barn-wedding venue plus several side by side silos perfectly positioned to be a quiet, quaint great alternative to the typical hotel stay. The two story silo has a very comfortable Q-bed with 3/4 bath en-suite. The downstairs is a beautifully sheet-rocked, modernly lit and furnished living area with a bar table dining area and petite kitchen. Internet, Keurig and nice kitchenette with small fridge freezer. Very clean and peaceful. We were pleased to find the sturdy spiral staircase very easy for our 60+ selves to navigate. If we are in the area again, we will rebook, absolutely, and next time the cyclist will bring the gear and road bike to properly enjoy the euro-like, quiet, rolling canyon roads.

Cozy Tiny Silo - very unique
This is a very well thought out tiny house placed into a silo. Nice touches and super cozy. We were there during the cold months and it could have used a space heater downstairs but overall, well laid out in a quiet setting and with great views.

Stayed here to attend a party at friends farm next door. However, it would be a nice spot to check out and chill, walk the crop lands. I would and will stay here again.

My husband and I had such a great time! The silos are absolutely charming and the property has breath taking views. I would choose the Mission Spring Barn location over any hotel, this is an absolute must for a relaxing weekend! 10 out of 10!!!

It's a very charming place to stay out in the country yet close enough to everything you need. Very quiet and relaxing. Beautiful and serene location. I will be recommending these Grain Silo Homes to my friends and family. Next time I will bring food to BBQ and stay and enjoy the location more. Phil and Tracy are very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this unique place to stay.

Quick Paso Robles getaway!
Wonderful time, such a charming place and creative! My first silo stay. We loved it so much we cut winery visiting short, bought a great Daou cab and brought dinner back to enjoy on the deck overlooking the farm. Great night!

Such a unique experience!
I wanted to give my wife an unique experience for her birthday and the Silo did just that. Phil is an amazing host and made sure we were taken care of. The Silo is a perfect get away out in the countryside and still close enough to Paso Robles. We enjoyed it so much we are going back in the fall.

THE UNIQUE "SILO EXPERIENCE"
We have stayed at many very nice (and expensive) hotels, cozy cabins, etc., but my wife and I stumbled upon a real treat. This place is a unique lodging creation. It's an honest-to-God genuine farm silo! The ranch owner has cleverly retrofitted the silo's interior with a quaint living place, and it was just completed. On May 7th, 2022, we stayed in the "Blue Door" silo. (There is a second silo that will soon be ready to rent). The bed & bath were upstairs, and the living area and small kitchen (with ample amenities) is downstairs. Two Smart TV's with apps to watch movies, etc, and good internet wi-fi for guest cell phones. There is a very good air conditioning/heating/fan unit. Bedding is fluffy. Several small windows allows ample light in and a view outward to see the hills, oak trees and orchards. On the back side of the silo is a wooden deck and chairs and a wonderful view of the hills and countryside.. Perfect to read a book and soak up some local wine. The ranch itself is gorgeous and extremely well manicured. Horses in a corral. An old farmhouse. Our one-night stay was a great dose of being out in the countryside and away from it all, yet it is just a few minuets from San Miguel and only a few more to Paso Robles. Super quiet and serene. I'm not an author, but weirdly I suddenly felt like I needed to write a book. Kidding on writing a book, but the comment is to convey the feeling you get. We met the owner, Phil, and he gave us a walk around the other wedding/event features he is building including a giant open-space barn he rebuilt for dining & dancing. He kept its aged barn-wood rustic appearance on the inside and added new cedar on the exterior, and it's got that good 'ol country feeling and it's ripe for a real hoe-down party. Our one-night stay in the silo was a treat and a story we've shared with friends and family, and we will absolutely return again and again! Congrats to the owners Phil and Tracy for their ingenuity, creativity and quality. Guests Randall & Doreen
