Beautiful property but on the non ocean side and they don’t allow you to use sister hotdd weed l which is on ocean side. Pool very nice. But there were little mites in master bath on sink counter.. they sprayed 3 times and each time the bugs came back immediately. I asked if they could get someone to treat the problem but that never happened. Had to keep everything out of bathroom. Also kept suitcase in garage and washed everything when got home… afraid we had brought them back. Also… they are building another building next door so it was extremely noisy from 730 am to 5. I asked to be moved but they never would move us. I would never recommend staying there

I loved this property overall. I was there for 10 days soI rented a golf cart to get around. Secrets Beach was about 25-30 minutes away as was Mahogany Bay. I got to see the locals, EXTREMELY nice people, and shop at their grocery stores. The customer service at the resort was great for the most part. Jamili and Gelie were simply outstanding to say the least. Sheridan was really nice as well. Rina needs some work. I hope she gets better in the future. Also, do NOT eat at the Rain restaurant. It was flavorless, tasted very bland and most importantly, it got me sick. So not cool! Elvi's is near by across the bridge and they have a good selection of tasty dishes.

Overall, we had a good stay here and appreciated the staff and the pool & gym amenities. Where we struggled a bit: 1. There was a challenge with the smoke detector battery beeping incessantly and the hot water in shower required us turning on the sink faucet and running both for a long time before showering. 2. There seemed to be more amenities (both the restaurants, the convenienice store, and departures for activities) at the larger sister hotel, Grand Caribe, but we probably just should've paid attention to this when booking. We *did* like that the Sunset was more quiet than the Grand Caribe though.
