Good enough but not what i paid for
Booked room because of proximity to hearst castle. Booked the deluxe room for the fireplace. Although they allow service dogs, they didnt stipulate on the listing that they only have 4 possible rooms that allow service dogs and the deluxe room is NOT 1 of them. They gave me a smaller room but i did not get a discount for the price paid. Our room was nice except that the fridge was loud when it kicked on and woke us most of the night. BE AWARE that if you have a service dog, you can only get into 1 of 4 possible rooms on the site. The staff is very friendly and the town is so small its easy to relax. Unfortunately, that will be our last time at this hotel. Next time we are in the area we will stay somewhere else.

Property was an older motor lodge that has been kept up very nice. The room wasn't flashy but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I feel it was worth the price and am very satisfied.

We have stayed here multiple times and it is a great hotel. Love everything about The Bluebird! Excellent location for restaurants, dining and shopping. We also liked the amenities in the room: nice soft pillows, microwave, fridge and coffee maker (with real mugs!)
