Our room and view was great, although the carpet was very dirty. Should be cleaned or replaced. The couch in the room had a huge rip in it & very outdated. The restaurant was ok. Not much of a bar friendly staff though they were great. For being pet friendly they should offer something for pets at the restaurant as well and possibly something in the room for our fur baby.

The room was not as nice as the pictures on the internet. We stayed in one of the ocean front room and the view was incredible. Overall a good experience.

We loved this hotel. The people were friendly, the restaurant was good (you can’t miss the Navajo Fry Bread), the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the caution to take your valuables out of your car because of vandalism in the stress. We do that anyway. But, I’d definitely recommend the location. Did I mention it’s dog-friendly? Also, there’s a really great gift shop with gifts relevant to the area’s Native American heritage and culture.

Relaxing getaway
This is our holiday getaway. Enjoy the resort and ocean views. Thanksgiving dinner is always nice. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon.

The property has the best ocean view in the area. However the staff was unresponsive to requests and could have been handled better. Our room had a fireplace with no way to start one, we never received our request nor did we receive a follow up.

We stay here several times a year and it is alway nice and clean. We love the balcony view and sleep with the door open so we can listen to the ocean all night. The fire place is perfect to take the morning chill off with a cup of coffee.

Everything was great. View of the ocean with a great patio. The heated pool and hot tub hit the spot on the cold rainy nights. I wish they had small microwaves in the rooms or one that could be checked out from the office if needed.

Location is great and the resort has amazing natural beaches and amenities to large pools. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was absolutely horrible and since cell service is kind of weak in the area, it is essential. The room was good, but the carpet had a musty smell, which was not appealing at all. There needs to be some updating in the room, especially in the bathroom. There’s no air conditioning just so you know, But since you’re so close to the beach, you may not need it. They do have a restaurant on site, which is OK. Food was spectacular. It did have a large variety. I did get a nice welcome bottle of champagne, which was surprisingly good. If they had a good Wi-Fi service I would’ve been, much happier. Again the area is great. The resort has lots of amenities. The set up is somewhat motel, but it served its purpose for one night.

We’ve stayed here many times. One of our favorite places in Cambria/San Simeon area. The staff is super friendly and super accommodating, and although the rooms are a bit dated, they have fireplaces and the property sits right on the ocean. The attached restaurant is really good as well. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in the rooms with direct ocean views, it was so beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and extra large. The fireplace was such a bonus, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lastly, the balcony was great for watching the ocean. We will be back!
