I think if I were looking for a quiet stay, JPH would be my choice. The room was quaint and lovely but felt slightly cramped because the bed was a king and it was jam packed with stuff (all necessary).
It’s a basically a house converted so you had to be super quiet as not to bother others. The walls were thin and there was snoring that happened during the night that I could hear.
The mid afternoon chocolate cookies were nice.
They also drop off breakfast, which is great, but the menu is the same each day and you can’t alter it in anyway. One or 2 mornings of quiche is nice but not 4 mornings. The basket they drop off the food is cute, but the basket was dusty and had stains and could probably use a good washing.
You can’t really walk anywhere. You need to drive if you want to get to the restaurants, shops or beach.
All in all, it was a quiet stay and I enjoyed it, but I usually stay on Moonstone Drive where all I need are my tennis shoes (and not my car) to get to the beach; I was feeling adventurous and thought I would try something new. I will probably book on the beach next time as I love Moonstone Beach and easy access to the beach footpath is so nice.
