Quiet and comfortable. Had stayed here a few years ago. Downside now is the ‘contactless’ experience which takes away from the B&B aspect of it and makes it more of a hotel. You never see or talk to any staff. No breakfast offered and served in a dining area. You get something dropped off at your room to eat in your room or you can take it to a dining area. In our previous stay there was opportunity to interact with staff and guests. Only contact with staff was through text messages which was so impersonal. If you are just looking for a room and somewhere quiet - away from town - this is a good option. Not a true B&B experience.

I think if I were looking for a quiet stay, JPH would be my choice. The room was quaint and lovely but felt slightly cramped because the bed was a king and it was jam packed with stuff (all necessary). It’s a basically a house converted so you had to be super quiet as not to bother others. The walls were thin and there was snoring that happened during the night that I could hear. The mid afternoon chocolate cookies were nice. They also drop off breakfast, which is great, but the menu is the same each day and you can’t alter it in anyway. One or 2 mornings of quiche is nice but not 4 mornings. The basket they drop off the food is cute, but the basket was dusty and had stains and could probably use a good washing. You can’t really walk anywhere. You need to drive if you want to get to the restaurants, shops or beach. All in all, it was a quiet stay and I enjoyed it, but I usually stay on Moonstone Drive where all I need are my tennis shoes (and not my car) to get to the beach; I was feeling adventurous and thought I would try something new. I will probably book on the beach next time as I love Moonstone Beach and easy access to the beach footpath is so nice.

Great little place to stay while visiting Cambria. Possible to take the steps from the neighboring hotel garden into the town. We liked the breakfast basket that was dropped off at our door each morning and the warm cookies that met us at check-in.

The property is nice, clean and well maintained. However all the service is now ‘touch less’ and there is no in person interaction. For breakfast, I inquired if I can make selections and was told it was all preset and would be delivered to the room. The breakfast had a lot of pork(which we don’t eat) and there was no option provided by to request alternatives. What used to make this property pleasant was the service and the interactions with the staff and guests in the shared areas, that unfortunately is all gone.

Cute, well situated, good price
Property is charming and well situated. Breakfast was delicious. Service was great. However, if you are an older person avoid the two rooms called "Cork" and "Belfast" as they are up a steep flight of stairs. We stayed in Cork and the only thing was the private bathroom was located just outside the room. Otherwise, this is a great place at a great price. We had the main house all to ourselves for most of the stay. It was great.

Ambulance and police were present the evening of our stay and remained on site for hours, lights and noise, which was concerning. To top things off we were not allowed a later check out, so we left back home very sleepy from the commotion the night before.

Zoe was wonderful. We had communications regarding food options and Zoe could not be more helpful and kind, very quick to respond. I would recommend the J Patrick Inn and would return without hesitation. It was a very quaint private property. The rooms were quiet and very cozy. We loved the cookies. Thank you!

Overall we enjoyed staying at the property. Positive: It was clean, cozy, and quiet. We were able to watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube using the property’s account, which was very convenient. The water heater worked perfectly, and the bathtub was big and nice. The property was a short drive to town. There was coffee, cookies, and popcorn available in the common area. The microwave was useful as well! Breakfast was pretty basic, but it tasted good. Negative: The toilet sink doesn’t drain properly, so it floods when we brush our teeth. The shower gel was empty when we checked in.

We arrived late and entered the house to find our room upstairs and the bathroom was outside in the hallway with a combination lock on it. Next to the bathroom was another tenant with the television making noise. If you got up in the night you had to put on some clothes and remember the combination to the door. They did supply an excellent breakfast!

We stayed here for our 21st wedding anniversary and enjoyed our night at this cute inn. The communication with the staff was great. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable and cozy. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was delivered to our door also. We’ll stay there again!
