The location is perfect — just a short stroll to the heart of Cambria, where you’ll find cute shops, delicious restaurants, and the beautiful coastline. Whether you’re here to explore or just relax, it’s got the best of both worlds. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and so comfortable — we felt right at home! Plus, the breakfast spread is an absolute treat. It’s not your average continental fare; think fresh pastries, locally sourced fruits, and hearty options to start the day off right. But what really sets The Rigdon House apart is the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can relax with a glass of wine in the cozy common area, chat with other guests, or just unwind in the peaceful garden. We stayed here before a trip to Hearst Castle. Perfect location, central in quaint village. Lovely coastal walks nearby. Spacious room (could have used some comfy chairs and a rug in the room, though). Would definitely recommend.

Great location and very cool historic property. I stayed in the addition from the 1970’s which didn’t have a lot of charm but it was a very big suite. Cambria is a lovely little town on the coast near so many amazing things to do. Happy hour is a nice touch by this property… outdated and run down, old TV’s but very unique and fun drip coffee maker in the room.

We had a great, spacious suite at a reasonable price. Great location, wonderful staff: Christian was very helpful, let us check in early and is also a wonderful mixologist: there is happy hour from 5 to 7 PM and they offer up to 2 delicious cocktails per person! Also many other amenities, we will be back for sure.

Spacious suite in a charming inn
We love Cambria and we are so happy that we found this charming inn for a reasonable price. Close to everything, quiet, clean, and very roomy. The complimentary happy hour was so nice, with tasty cocktail specials and appetizers. We will come back here on our next trip to Cambria.
